Need of help

I always thought ambigrams are really cool. And i really love the "up is Down" scene from pirates of the Caribbean (especially the music from Hans Zimmer). I saw tattoos of the ship upside down, but thought wouldn't it be really cool to have an ambigram where up is up and down is Down the other way around.. this is my first try, but a cant get the D and S to work the way I like is. Is there someone who can help me? Are the other letters clear or is it a disaster 🥲. Thanks in advance!

Any design suggestions for these names?

Will tattoo my daughters name and would want it in ambigram. Name is not set yet, but its either going to be Enya, Idun, or Elina.

Vater (German for "father")

I built this 20 years ago and dug it up after finding this sub. Drawn by hand and digitized by my teenage self, hence the quality :D

Paid / free - take 2

I’ve heard it said all my life that it’s not how you start something but rather how you finish it. I think this is clearly an exception. For this illustration I got “paid” first and then flipped things on their head making it “free”. The first time I tried to do it, I made it “free” first and then farted around with it to get “paid”.

For anyone who didn’t notice the up votes, down votes, insults, criticism, word play, and witty banter from that first post, I am including the original duo here.

I think one or two of you knew where I was going all along. I told others that I was making a point with that post and a future one. This is that future one!

How many of you put as much time and energy into free requests as you do the ones you make for yourself or for a customer? There was a time when I did and if Taylor Swift, John Cooper, or Spider-Man wanted a freebie I’d do it for the publicity that money can’t buy. I’d pour my soul into one like that but for free requests here it’s not gonna be more than a 1/2 hour sketch or maybe a 1/2 minute cut and paste from one of the ambigram sites.

Am I alone in that?

CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM IS ENCOURAGED.
I am still actively seeking ways to improve my artistry so a sketch of how you think it would be better or even a set of written instructions on how to fix weaknesses would be fantastic.

But a notification that alerts me to a troll pooping on my lawn is not constructive. The troll may feel a sense of relief but not me.

You can be a Bubba the Troll or you can be Bob the Builder. Let’s build together and help one another… sound reasonable.

Oh and while you’re at it answer the questions. This is my third attempt to foster dialogue about the pros and cons of giving away our labor or charging for it.

As above, so below

Wanted to make an 'as above, so below' ambigram for possible use on a cross stitch. Second pic is my attempt to convert it to pixels with an approximate 7x7 pixel per letter. Feel free to make suggestions or use as wanted.

Someone asked for King and Fool - here's my attempt!

I feel like this could be a fun tshirt design - it would say 'King' to others, but you'd see 'fool' looking down at yourself. Or vice versa...

Jaydene and Kai

Used to ambigram a bunch back in school but haven't done one in years. Stumbled upon this subreddit and thought I'd give it another shot with mine and my wife's names. Will probably clean this up at some point but thought I'd share an early sketch

What names do you see here?

I tried doing mine and my friend’s name for this one. It was difficult (I’m a beginner), but I think I finally managed to make it work. I practiced on a separate piece of paper before ending up with this. I want to know what names other people see for each side, so I know that the intended names are being seen.
