Is the breed actually aggressive or was I lied to?

Many years ago I found a breeder on facebook and told him I was interested in showing a boykin in AKC. I think the breeder i found was more interested in hunting homes so instead of telling me so he told me the breed is super aggressive and drivey like a jagdterrier. The entire breed. That directly contradicted what I read everywhere else but he was a breeder so what do I know. I ultimately passed on the breed and got skye terriers and I currently show them. Every time I see boykins I do feel a certain way, maybe I should've talked to more people. What is your experience with Boykins?

I know what he is but he was a weird looking puppy. I'd like to see if people can correctly guess the breed by his weird puppy phase.
