Do I think he was trying to be racist in the moment? No

Do I think he is racist based on his political leanings and the way “boy” naturally came from his mouth? Yes

Do I think Red Sox fans who said to hit James Wood, were saying they should throw at him cuz he’s not white? Fucking absolutely not, genuinely the most insane take I’ve heard from the pod.

What is going on in Coley’s brain to think that Sox fans who thought Cavalli was being racist actually think the solution to that would be to be racist back. If anything the suggestion would’ve been to throw at all of the white players on the team.

“We can’t throw at their best player cuz he’s not white”, is a ridiculous take and I struggle to believe that Coley actually thinks this. Seems to me he was just frustrated with the guys not agreeing that Cavalli was being racist so he went to hyperbole.

Either way fuck Cavalli. He’s racist and this discourse is enabling a lot of other racists to jump on his side and defend him.

In the last 2 days I’ve lost 5 games cuz my team throws when Widow is picked. The black widow doesn’t even have a chance to play bad, my teammates just insta throw the second the character is hovered.

Pretty funny that they added a skin to a shit character and it essentially guarantees that everyone will have less fun playing the game because more people want to use her.

I don’t even mind Widow cuz I’m in GM2 and I swear half the time I have a widow on my team it’s a Smurf and they cook.

I don’t understand Jared and Coley’s take about baseball being a bad sport for chanting in between pitches when we can see how electric it is in Japan. Especially cuz Coley had a great tweet about how these days you have to make your own fun at Fenway with the tarps off thing, but then he criticizes the Scotts chanting cuz we lost those games.

Idk, I just loved the energy and it was the first time in a while I actually wanted the team to win cuz the vibes in the stadium were so good. Also if the chanting is causing us to lose then I am fully in support of that.

There were real humans, who watch this team every year, that actually thought losing a series to the Blue Jays and Astros meant literally anything about the state of the team.

I was already completely fine with Cora being fired, but if the added context is that he was fired cuz he refused to go on without Fatse, then I’m glad he’s gone. Shit had to change at some point and if Cora was completely unwilling to part with someone like Fatse, then it’s good that he’s gone.

I’m not saying Cora is a bad manager cuz he wouldn’t stay if all his guys got kicked out, but I do think some of those guys had to go.

I’m ready for a full turnover if this year ends poorly. This has been one of the stupidest teams in the league since 2021 for so many reason. It’s time for a reset. It would be nice if ownership also rethinks things if they do completely clean house as well.
