my friend made this account year ago, not knowing its gonna be expired year later, the card has been expired, he has more than 900,000PKR in it.

he contacted meezan bank helpline, requesting to mature or upgrade his account from asaan student to regular asaan digital, it seems like they dont have any idea to go about this matter, they keep pushing him to close his account asap and open a new account otherwise they are gonna block the account in anytime.

he visited local branch,one represented told him to continue using this account for daily transactions

so is there such risk of account getting blocked and money getting stuck?
