I mainly fish on the method and want to give ye pole a go. However I don’t want to blow a load all over it and find I don’t enjoy it. Are there any decent kits about that’ll give me a good taster of pole fishing? I’ve seen AD have a 6m nytro “whoppa stoopa” on their offers this month but I can’t find any reviews on it. What SM units are frowned upon when taken at 1000 points? I know Angron is a good chaos example but I’m not too familiar with op space marine units at lower points. (I’m looking to avoid this scenario)

I’ve got some scouts to paint up but I don’t want to use usual scout heads. I’m looking for something helmeted that looks tactical, maybes hooded if it looks the part. Any suggestions?
