Why is this not front page news?
Especially in the Anti AI crowds. I’m not seeing many people talk about this. And it’s been a whole week.

Look what criticism make em do.
Shout out to yall for this week’s episode. Heavily enjoyed. If you not on the Patreon you missing out. Killer Mike freestyle while I disagree with what he said it definitely woke up hip hop conversations in the media. And the moment was cool to see Mike rap with ti and his son and have good verses. I don’t see people arguing but people on both sides whether they agree or disagree having good spirited conversations and debates about Conservatism. Killer Mike is in his 50s he knows it’s better to talk it out rather than beef with someone he disagrees with. I hope someone on his team trys to link him with FD and others in that space. I’ve seen him give advice to young thug and gunna and that’s a wayyyyyyyy deeper issue than what he has with dr ball and FD. I don’t think he’s going to change his mind on conservatism though. Mike is a head strong individual. He recently started to get his flowers in the mainstream so I can understand a man that had to struggle and push thru to get to the heights he has is a dream come true but at the same time he can’t start looking down at others because they disagree with others. That’s corny. If you can sit with Candace Owen’s and kemp you can sit with a down with a Doctor and Former teacher that cares about the same things you do.
Should I upgrade to the Pro 2 or am I fine with what I have? I like my luma Pros. Only issues I have is the blurry corners. And the fact that the screen follow my head turns. Oh and it gets very hot on the right side after 30-1h hour.
First of shout out to yall for engaging in my Yunalesca vid post. I’m always shocked how much people still love this game. But it seems it’s time to run it back on the Switch 2
(Seriously why did I buy this? I have the Switch 1 edition lmaoooooo).
We need the X-3 and X remake ASAP.
I’ve enjoyed Remake and Rebirth multiple times. Currently on a Switch 2 play through of Rebirth on the Switch 2 (Great Port honestly). I believe that Square Enix learned a lot thoughout this 3 part experience but I have to ask. Do you think they will stick the landing after Revelation drops. I’m not speaking from the perspective of the person enjoying the game cause I do believe Revelations will be a better experience especially if they listen to the fair criticisms of remake and rebirth. I’m more so talking about the expectations they set from the beginning. I think it’s fair to say Rebirth did not sell as much as remake which is a shame because of how much better rebirth is from a gameplay perspective. But that has to worry the folks as Square because part 3 is right around the corner.
If I was a betting man I would chalk this up to people saying “you know what I’ll wait til they release everything and then I’ll play. I somewhat get that sentiment because I watch tv series after the show concludes. Having to wait years to finish a story suck and with it being a video game where you’re actually playing the story I can get that mindset.
What I hope doesn’t happen is people just didn’t like the remake experience and they don’t give this series a chance. I love OG but I also appreciate what Square has done with the remake somewhat. Obviously I’m not going to like everything. Chadley and Mai interrupting and talking over the battle music annoys me every single time and Square not adding a setting to turn off NPC voice so I can just hear my party, the enemies and the music sucks. Also square needs to go back to having the player press a button to have npcs talk. My favorite thing about Final Fantasy is the music first. I don’t need to hear npcs talking over the instrumentation. Or not being able to walk around as the other party members. Or them making queens blood which is a phenomenal side games apart of the story rather than a side game to get away from the story and collect a thon with the card (maybe implement a mechanic where you can trade cards for materials for the transmuter like triple triad did in ff8).
I’m fair with the criticism but I still do enjoy these games for what they are. Even in 10/10 games everything can’t be perfect.
But what do yall think? Do you think square will take a multi part release strategy when making more remakes? There has been heavy talks of Final Fantasy X getting a remake/prequel up next. And I’m half excited and half terrified of that news.
I can’t really put into words the impact Nobuo Uematsu has had on me throughout my life. I’m forever grateful for his contributions musically to Squaresoft/Enix. Last night I felt emotions I’ve never felt before. I lost my Grandmother a couple months ago and I haven’t been able to grieve the loss since. Watching Yuna send the Aeons while the orchestra played broke me. From FF 2 on the psp to FF 13, I beat them all in her house and see never told me to turn down the volume when I was playing them. My father introduced me to the series. Watching him play 7, 8 & 9. Those OSTs are nailed into my brain. Receiving FFX my first Final Fantasy for my 6th birthday and going thru trial and error to beat it.
It trips me out how he came up with these pieces of musical art. Like no voice acting back in the day. So they gave him the story, showed him the characters artwork and settings and he created a “Balamb Garden” or “the man with a machine gun” or “bombing mission” or “listen to the cries of the planet”. This man is a Living Legend. It was a honor to see him and enjoy his life’s work with him in the crowd with us. It was a great moment to see him soak in the love from all the fans at the end of the show. Thank you Nobuo Uematsu
