Okay so some of you might have already seen my first post for charbeljreij.com, which got A LOT of comments both good and bad. And I actually took into consideration some of your advice.

1. The most important part was having too much "fluff" and "useless" personal stuff like the gluten intolerance joke section and that AI fast skiing picture on the beach so I ditched these and kept just a small personal section. You guys were right, my personal side should not be competing with my professional side on here.

2. Some of you guys also told me that the old hero AI car image was very misleading and unclear to what my profession actually is. Some even saying "are you a racing driver". And you guys are also right, this new one is also AI but better depicts what I do.

3. An important review also mentioned that my "technical skills" were unclear and there were right. I removed the unnecessary paragraph and replaced it with 1. what I'm currently doing, 2. My tech stack and 3. what I work across.

4. This is to add to the "technical skills" part, some people said that the project details were too shallow, so I went ahead and created a detail page where I really do a deep dive into the technicals of each project if someone wants to read them.

5. Finally I also changed the theme of the contact form to better match the overall website theme.

Keep the reviews coming! Either bad or good, it will help me get better and also teach others not to make the same mistakes I did. Cheers!

Hello everyone!

So i was building myself a new portfolio and was looking everywhere online to try to find some inspiration but I couldn't find anything that I like.

My goal was to make something that can truly reflect my personality and show "me" instead of some "Hi I'm a dev and use these technologies". So I went to work with GPT 5.6 and after a lot of hours of fixing and prompting and letting my creative side work I came up with this and can finally say this is something that truly reflects who I am.

The AI pictures are definitely obvious dw and I don't try to hide it, I actually joke about it (especially the navbar one). But I am no "designer" so I'd appreciate some reviews on what I can fix. (Still needs a bit of polishing here and there)
