Comes with all links, box, card (2018 so they switched from booklet to card). Can I register it on AP website if I’m probably going to be the second owner. The settled price was 44K, is that a good price?

New to the AP game as I have only Rolex watches. Excited to look for a new piece but also want to take my market in the grey / jeweler market.
In everyone’s opinion, what is the better buy
15400 blue face
Or
15500 blue face
I heard the blue is different between the two and so is the face with automatic but also sizing. I’m aware of the movement being updated in 15500.
I guess my main questions is:
What is the market price ranges for 15400 and 15500 and what prices is bad, fair, definite buy, and jump on ASAP assuming the watch is in very good - excellent/ unworn like condition.
Any questions I should keep a lookout for? Doing my research I found a few and one of the 15500 is priced good but the warranty booklet says it was sold at a watch center in Macau China which I’m not sure if it was an authorized AP house. The other 15400 had a compelling price but like brand new unworn condition and the store disclosed it was polished by a professional paying top dollar that even AP goes to this polisher themselves to polish their watch so it was done without softening the edges.
Any tips Advice and what to look out for would greatly be appreciated! Even negotiation tactics!

I know this is a Viture subreddit but wanted some feedback on your opinions, as I had both and currently returned the Viture Beast and have the ROG XREAL R1. I do like the sharper images and texts on the side compared to the Viture Beast, but I do feel the Viture Beast colors pop more for gaming and movies. Price is also more attractive.
Which would you pick and why?
The 240hz mode i tested, but quality definitely degrades since it downscales and its already 1080p vs 1200p from Beasts.
Also anyone heard if Bestbuy will restock them?
