Can anyone identify what this bit does on a Gigabyte 3070 8GB?
Bought this used on eBay, not even the GPU that was advertised, and saw this doodad corrosion while inspecting it. I'd love to know what that part does, it'll help my case against the seller.

My audio keeps intermittently cutting in and out on the TV. Advice?
Got a 2yo and I got to be quick. The audio setting isn't through the computer but through my rx 580 8gb. I've used HDMI 2.1, 2.0, random ones lying around and even a DP to HDMI I have and still the audio cuts for a sec randomly. I don't plan on testing through a monitor because it's going to be the living room steam machine.

My only guess at this point is I shouldn't do it through the gpu but I can't do the time puzzle out what I can do instead. Any advice or diagnostics I can perform i'd appreciate it. Thank you in advance

I tried Toukiden Kiwami on bazzite...
It's considered Unsupported on the steam deck and it shows. It plays like a dream, smooth and lovely, but most of the cutscenes don't play, you just get the picture above. Not that I'm trying to complain, most of the story is in conversation boxes.
Edit: Proton-GE did the trick, works like a beaut now
