I've decided to try for 1G fleets... but I'm tired boss. This save is ridiculously slow.... and has broken so many things. I'm ready for a new run.
So here's 375.7M fleets, each riddle escort is 2.6M, and I have four fleets below that amount. Bubbles, my colossus, and two battle cruiser fleets.

Got to love rebellion naming. These guy's rebelled from the Custodian when they named me a crisis. It was a little too late, as they were the last independent empire besides the FE that were blocking them.
They're now part of the swarm.
Just waiting on influence to claim the last FE.

I started this run planning on going modularity, I saw that choke point and decided, yep I'm not expanding past. There's still 8 more planets to colonize within my cluster.
Just ignore that energy deficit. Nothing to see here.
Step 1: Equip a plasma gun.
Step 2: Take the Gunsmith node
Step 3: Take single shot and reload
Step 4: Swap to melee and let Gunsmith reload
Step 5: Profit (Plasma gun will never overheat)
For me it's forgetting that this menu exists. This is the radial menu that lets you quickly select what's in a system. To get to it, when your cursor is over a system in galaxy view... press the X button (Xbox), instead of A button to enter system view. For playstation it's the Square button instead of X.
This is a hivemind with Primal call OG, wild swarm and Cordyceptic Drones...
Basically as I lure in fauna, I can kill it for free fleets. Although the upkeep can be rather ridiculous, I actually just disbanded a few fleets because it was collapsing my economy.
You can easily push 200k+ worth of fleets within 50 years.
