Invest tab

Is anyone else having issues getting their invest tab/portfolio to show up when logging in? I’m on the mobile app and no matter how many times I open and close the app, I can’t get my invest tab to display my portfolio. I’ve checked to make sure the app is up to date. I’ve checked the time on my phone to make sure it is accurate. I don’t know what else to do. It’s like playing the lottery each time I log in on whether or not I can even look at my portfolio let alone make changes to it. I was trying to view it last week on the go and fought with it every bit of an hour at work trying to get it to work. It’s becoming tiring and frustrating.

Personal concern

Spoilers

So I’ve been reading the LN now for the last few weeks. I’m currently on Y3 Vol 1. I’ve obviously been spoiled here and there from the multiple subs but that’s okay, I’m not far behind in the story anyways.

From what I gather, Year 3 has really turned out to be a disappointment. I know I’m not alone in thinking there is cause for concern going forward.

My main concerns based on my current reading and spoilers:

The pay off of Kiyo finally transferring classes and coming out of the shadows has been… disappointing? I feel him being in the specific position he was in inside Horikita’s class was a lot more interesting and rewarding. Now everyone from all the other classes will be even more wary of dealing with him. So it requires a suspension of belief on the reader to see how he manipulates or convinces students of other classes going forward.

Suzune. Personally, the 3 characters I value the most in the story has been Kouji, Horikita, and Ryuuen. Specifically my complaint is the lack of kouji and Horikita interaction. They are imo the grounding moments of the story. Where real class progress was made. Where you could measure true character growth of both characters against each other. It was genuine and the reader could actually understand at face value how each character was growing from volume to volume. Without these interactions, I feel a lot of the subplots and threads lose a lot of the shine? Usually when kouji was up to something, I was always looking forward to horkita’s reaction and how he would frame it to her. Maybe it was a personal indulgence on my part but I feel like those interaction were a big part of the soul for the story.
In addition, I’ve seen the leak of kouji’s and horikita’s interaction in Vol 4. I don’t like it based on its own context, regardless of full release. All the tension and history of the characters seem to mean nothing and have been discarded and the result is a soulless exchange that has zero payoff for a lot of the build up of kouji’s transfer and horikita’s struggle. IMO, it’s just a disservice to those interactions before that I brought up and takes something that should have been monumental and turns it into nothing memorable.

The ending. I don’t see how we could possibly get a satisfying ending anymore. Either Horikita graduates class A and kouji transfers for nothing (letting down a lot of the supporting cast that have placed big bets on him, including us readers who firmly believe he should be able to make it back to A). Or he does graduate from Class A and he has now destroyed horikita and her classes future for what? He has no future anyways. I was so excited for kouji to finally reach center stage but now that we have it, I’ve realized how disappointing it is and the outcome will be disappointing outside of plot shenanigans to make people happy. This circles back around to the peak being kouji operating in horikita’s class from the shadows, and how him transferring and becoming known to everyone officially has had the opposite effect that I originally thought I was. I was wrong in my desire and now I am hoping I am wrong in my assumption about the future of the story.

I know I have probably talked in circles, I have no intention of rereading my own work. Hopefully I have got my basic points across and maybe once I catch up officially, some of my thoughts will be eased. Though based on sentiment in the comments here and spoilers, I don’t see that happening. To me, the only way forward that would be rewarding to me as a reader would be for kouji to gain those precious interactions with Suzune again. To bring soul back to the story. Regardless of hating Suzune or not (I am not blindly defending her, she can be a as obtuse as a wall sometimes), I think she is the best candidate for producing meaningful engagement with kouji. Ryuuen is the best candidate to test and show off kouji but Suzune is the best candidate to show growth and meaning.
