Supfen Gloves

I'm looking for feedback on these: https://supfen.com/product/gloves/hfg0704.html

I bought 2 pairs back in 2020. They were too small (my bad, a Supfen M is not a Spes M) and were lacking on protection on the tip of the fingers. And the fabric broke quite soon.
I see now that the model has changed quite a bit. Now the shell covers the front of the fingertips, the inner gloves have also changed, and so I feel more confident. But I'd like to get some feedback before investing more.
(NB I have many other gloves, but I need to buy some loaners for the club, that's why I look for something cheap).

I always get hit to the outside

As per title, I feel like I fence very well from all other directions. But my blind spot is the outisde, i.e. my right elbow and shoulder. I can defend decently with saber, holding guards that defend that side more, but with longsword, it's getting frustrating.

Basically, I can't parry or react strongly and quickly enough when I receive cuts to my right side.

Is this common? Any words of advice?

Does anyone really spar with Montante?

I see all kinds of people in love with zweihänder/montante and buying them and training solo witht them but...
Does anyone fight with them?
Never heard of a montante tournament and I'm not sure there's even a way to spar safely with them.

Best quests for a bit of RP?

I introduced HQ to my DnD group and they love it.
Because of our background, we prefer quests that have a bit of a puzzle, NPCs multiple approaches etc. In other words anything other than grinding monsters.

I recently played a fan made quest that was very nice in this respect. Can you recommend any particular quest, official or not, that would be up our alley?

Throwing melee weapons

One of my players noted that there's an HA that allows to throw weapons against an enemy for 2WP.

Which means (I assume) that throwing melee weapons is not allowed? I can't find a reference in the manual, although I see that for example the hand axe is explicitly listed as something you can throw.

So, is the HA only for throwing non-throwable weapons?

Where to start with sidesword?

I practice longsword, sabre and very little sidesword.

I'd like to introduce more sidesword in the curriculum, but here's my problem: I have a decent understanding of Meyer's longsword and dussack, so I have started with his rappier chapter. However it looks different from other sidesword system, and very cut-heavy. I think it's very different from other bolognese styles, and perhaps not a good entry point?

What author/book would you recommend for someone who wants to add a bit of sidesword as "side-dish" without getting specialized in it?

Opinions on Fabian's Fechtbuch?

I was thinking of getting it, either paper or digital, do you think it's useful for someone who considers himself already experienced and well-read?

Ok, Dragon Emperor spoilers here.

The book says she has a double identity. Leanara is her "cultist name" while as barmaid she's Annabelle.

Did this play any role in your game? I feel like Weatherman tries to railroad the players into meeting her, but then they never know she's Leanara, except perhaps at the end.
Which is good, since otherwise they're without purpose at the beginning.
