reddit.comAndroid - TalkBack does not work correctly in search results and opened chats - version 2026.17.0.2617080
This is a follow-up to my earlier report:
https://www.reddit.com/r/bugs/comments/1ssu97h/android_talkback_navigation_on_home_feed_stopped/
I noticed more places where TalkBack does not work correctly in the Reddit Android app.
Issue:
When using TalkBack, navigation and/or activation does not work correctly in these areas. This makes it difficult or impossible to use search results and opened chats with TalkBack.
Search:
Open the Reddit Android app with TalkBack enabled.
Search for something.
Try navigating and activating items in the search results.
Chat:
Go to the Inbox
Select the Chat tab
Open a chat.
Try navigating the feed inside the opened chat.
When visiting a Post, the symantic actions on the post header support redirecting to the sub-reddit.
However, the redirect fails due to an extra r/ being added to the redirect.
For example: r/r/bugs instead of r/bugs
