Anyone going to see Vienna Light Orchestra's Christmas show this year?

My sister had a lot of positive things to say about the Vienna Light Orchestra Christmas show last year. They’re coming to our city, so i’m thinking about booking tickets for my family. Hoping to hear from other people here how they are. Anyone going to see Vienna Light Orchestra’s Christmas show this year? How were past shows you've been to?

LED Lighting - Help

What is the best way to accomplish something like this? Does the LED need to be in a diffused channel? Would Govee RGBIC Gaming Lights work?

Best desk riser height + how to lift IKEA Alex drawers off the floor?

Looking for desk riser recommendations (height and product) so I can sit/stand at my desk.

Also need something to raise my IKEA Alex drawer unit slightly off the hardwood floor so the bottom drawers stop scraping when I open them!

Tabletop Recommendation 30D x 6/7ft Long

I know a lot of people use the Karlby desktop. Are there any good alternatives? I am looking for a desk that is about 30 inches deep and approximately 6 feet long.

lanning an IKEA desk hack — 74" × 30" build. Thoughts on tabletops, shelving, and monitor orientation?

Hey everyone! I'm in the middle of planning a home office refresh and want to do the classic IKEA legs + custom tabletop setup.

Here's what I'm working with:

  • Dimensions: 74" wide × 30" deep — want that extra depth for a more spacious feel
  • Flooring: also installing new hardwood floors, so I'm open to matching or contrasting the desk surface
  • Monitor: thinking about running a portrait-orientation monitor — curious if anyone's done this and what mounting setup they used
  • Shelving: planning to add wall shelving above the desk for storage and to get stuff off the surface

Main questions:

  1. Tabletop material — Butcher block (KARLBY?) vs. solid wood slab vs. laminate? Any regrets? At 74" I'm worried about sagging without a center support.
  2. IKEA legs — ALEX drawers as legs vs. ADILS/OLOV adjustable legs? Any wobble issues at this width?
  3. Portrait monitor — single arm mount or dual? What's your experience with portrait for productivity or coding?
  4. Shelving above — floating shelves, IKEA hack, or something else? How deep did you go without it becoming a head-clearance issue?

Would love to see photos if you've done something similar. Thanks!

Some Inspo

Made this in AI.

Thinking of putting together something like this but with wood floors.

Any tips or recommendations for a setup like this not doing overhead lighting but any recommendations of desk lighting?

I live in an HOA condo complex and a woodpecker keeps pecking the metal water heater vent early every morning. It echoes like crazy.

Anyone found a good fix? Reflective deterrents, netting, spinner on top, vent cap, etc

I’m building a web app in Lovable and had two questions:

What’s the best setup for user login + storing user data/parameters in a database?

Thinking about Supabase, Firebase, Clerk, etc. Looking for something simple, scalable, and cost effective.

Once the app is working, what’s the easiest and cheapest way to publish it to the iOS App Store and Google Play Store?

Can I keep hosting everything on Lovable, make updates there, and republish updates as needed? Or does every update require a full app review/resubmission?

Would also love recommendations on the best way to wrap a web app into a mobile app and any mistakes to avoid.
