What is login.gov?

I was looking for a password in my ProtonPass database a few minutes ago, and this single entry stood out. It just has a title of login.gov and has a 2FA attached to it. I live in Norway, so WHY would I have that in my database?

Organizing A LOT of photos

The day I have been avoiding for years have come. I've decided to try to get all my photos organized. I am a hobby photographer and have hundreds of thousands of photos on different drives. Some are from Google Photos, that I've downloaded, some are from iCloud, some are from 20+ years ago taken with different cheap cameras.

I'm looking for a program that can handle these amounts of files without crashing. I've tried a few free ones, but they all crash before I can even import a couple of % of my photos.

Some photos aren't very important, but some are very important, like photos of my kids when they were young, and also of my parents and stuff like that. Yes I know, I'm a data horder. Just not a very organized one. But that's gotta change. If I'm looking for a particular photo, there's no way I can browse through them all.

So PLEASE, does anyone know of a good software (NOT!!! ADOBE!!) that I can use to organize my photos preferably on an external drive or NAS? I'd prefer a free software if possible, but I'd gladly pay for one that works. (NOOOT ADOBE!!!)

Funny bug

I was bored and started a brand new character. And again I crafted the wrong water purifier. I made the basic rainwater purifier by accident. And when I was trying to place it in the water, I got the option to fill it.

And when I do, and drink from it, I get the filtered water buff. Nice 🙂

Recommendation for email app

I moved from iPhone to Android not long ago and I'm looking for a good email app that isn't the Gmail app or Outlook.

Issues with clay brick building?

I'm currently working on a 3 story building with 7x8 squares.

I first built it in wood, then upgraded to stone brick. Then I modified it and added some reinforced glass pieces. Everything is working great.

But then I decided to add some changes to it and upgraded the internal floors and upper walls with clay brick. About a minute later and the performance tanked. Now I'm running at around 30 FPS, with dips down to low 20s.

Does anyone know of any known issues with the clay bricks?

I just upgraded all the clay back to stone bricks and restarted the game and now it's running smooth again as it normally does.

Mega oxygen tank

Uhm, am I missing something here? I was wondering why the oxygen level didn't go down. It seems to go UP instead.

It's getting tight in there

I think I need to extend my base. It's getting pretty tight in there.

Maybe I'll build a separate trophy building.

My trickiest build so far

I've done a lot of large builds in the past. The one that took the longest was my apartment building with 8 floors and 32 apartments.

But this "Bridge House" was for sure the trickiest to get stable. After a lot of trouble with the two roof pieces in the middle, I finally got it stable.

Don't play with fire

I just noticed that I had maxed out all the building achievements. And figured I might as well go for the ones for putting out fires too. Only had just over 100 out of max of 500.

Guess I got a little over confident with how fast I could put out the fires. I shot fire arrows all around the inside of my pretty big wooden building. BAD IDEA. LOL

I don't understand the "rain water collectors"

You have to add ice for fuel, and can be placed indoors. So it's basically just an ice melter. Or am I missing something?

In real life, a rain water collector is placed OUTDOORS, often has a filter and COLLECTS the water coming down as rain. No fuel needed. It's just a container.

Keybindings keeps resetting

I got an annoying problem. Lately when I change the keybindings, shut down the game and relaunch it, my keybindings are reset to default.

It's really weird, I've looked at the input.ini file and the correct bindings are there.

Quilted bed removed?

Does anyone know if they've removed the Quilted Bed from the Homestead decoration pack? I know I've used it before, and it still shows up under the scrolling list when hovering the cursor over the decorations bench in the tech tree.

But it's not showing up under the Homestead tab in the Decorations Bench.

EDIT: Never mind, I found it, but it was under the Electric Carpenter Bench. Kinda weird since it's supposed to be under the Decorations Bench.

BOOM

Lightning strikes the lightning rod and now all my batteries are fully charged.

I LOVE that. Thinking about building a base completely powered by lightning. But I`ll need a lot more batteries.

Funny story

So, I just started a new game with a brand new character.

I was roaming around the arctic collecting ice. And the only tools i had on me were a bone knife, stone axe, stone pickaxe and a wooden shovel.

A big storm came in, so I decided to head back to my wooden house. I figured I might as well collect ice with the shovel as I walk back. I couldn't see much Infront of me, complete white out. And I was looking down to collect ice.

Suddenly the guy stops, and I hear a large growling noise.

I look up and stare right into the eyes of a freaking polar bear 🐻‍❄️

Guess who died? Yeah, this guy.

Moral of the story, always be aware of your surroundings and keep your head on a swivel and look where you're going 🤣😜
