Question about why Mythic paths happen
How I understand the lore of the Wrath of the Righteous Main Character, the Mythic Paths are available because Areelu’s experiment on the MC let them absorb mythic energy from sources around them. The following paths are available and the reasons for so for example:
Angel: MC came into contact with an angel’s sword and absorbed its power.
Demon: Areelu is a demon and interacted with the MC before the game started.
Aeon: lingering power from an actual Aeon that fought in Kenabres can be absorbed.
Azata: by following the Desna follower quest in Kenabres, the MC gets a vision of Elysium and gets in contact with actual Azatas.
Lich: contact with another Lich and their Phylactary.
Gold Dragon: the dragon Terendalev casts magic on the MC at the start of the game. The MC has further contact with an actual Gold Dragon later on.
Devil: contact with Mephistopheles in the Aeon and Azata paths. Power is cemented through a contract.
Swarm: experiments from MC and later eating a powerful Vescavor.
My question now is where did the Trickster path come from? There isn’t really an equivalent being that the MC comes into contact with before the path starts. Despite that, they get Trickster related intuition in Kenabres.
