People who got their proofs and selected paper, did you also get access to an e-certficiate?

I heard from other posts that even if you select paper, you get access to an e-certficiate. Can anyone vouch for this?

Kicking myself cuz I'm pretty sure I asked for a paper copy when I shouldve asked for e-certficiate. I don't even know why they have that option honestly. I heard you can submit a web form to request it to be an e-certficiate instead.

Are there good Epic analyst jobs in Ontario? Or should I look for general Health IT?

I'll be a dual US/CA citizen by next year. Currently looking at positions around Ontario for Epic roles (I have my sights on a 2 hour radius of Toronto, but my mind may be open to other places in the province).

Does anyone know how great the need is for Epic analysts? I currently work mostly in Chronicles (I have an Epic cert). I also have general Health IT / helpdesk experience and my CS BS. Willing to do either general Health IT or Epic stuff.

Inland sponsorship for PR? Also, need help with Ontario Health Insurance (OHIP) eligibility

Heyo,

Making plans to move to Canada (I'm getting my citizenship early next year). I'm bringing my partner with me and will sponsor them for PR. From what I understand, outland is the best deal right now (able to appeal, quicker processing, still able to get her open work permit (OWP)). Any reason to still choose inland?

Also, anyone know about OHIP eligibility? From what I'm reading, we need to get her PR eligibility confirmed (her PR AIP) before we can apply for OHIP. But the wording on OHIP is vague:

To meet the minimum qualifications you must:

  • be physically in Ontario for 153 days in any 12‑month period
  • be physically in Ontario for at least 153 days of the first 183 days immediately after you began living in the province
  • make Ontario your primary residence

What does "living" mean? I heard multiple times that time spent in Ontario as just a visitor does NOT count. So how are we able to go the PR AIP route for OHIP eligibility then? I don't understand...
