Homatics Box 4K V2 or R Plus 4K

Hi there, I'm looking to upgrade my Xiaomi 2ng gen box and after some research I landed on 2 devices, both from Homatics:

Homatics Box 4K plus V2

Homatics Box R Plus 4K

From what I see the biggest difference is the V2 has a better CPU (S905X5M) but 2gb ram while the R has a weaker CPU (S905X4) but 4gb ram and it's slightly pricier tough 20€ more is whatever.

In terms of use case, I don't really multitask or stream games. I mostly play local mkv files with MX Player, Plex, Netflix and tv streaming app. I'm in Europe so ONN isn't an option.

Any suggestions which one I should go for? Thanks.

Bellakar - The Good Guys of the South

If you don't know Darth Gandalf, he's a youtuber that focuses exclusively on Tolkien lore and world building, as well as answering question and delving into mysteries and under or unexplained aspects of the legendarium. He's been at it for several years now and has built quite the backlog without ever doing annoying ad reads or intrusive calls to action, just pure lore content.

Lately, possibly due to starting to run out of topics, he's started dipping in toes into some non-canon content like LOTRO and, as of recently, MERP. If you don't know, MERP (Middle Earth Role-playing) is sort of the backbone on Realms canon.

His most recent video is on Bellakar so while you can learn quite abit about Bellakar in game via the historical endeavour activity, if you'd rather learn in video format, consider giving DG's video a watch - and hopefully a follow afterwards, he sadly flies abit under the radar for the work he does.

Looking for a work laptop - light, usb-c charging and support second screen via usb-c

Hello, I'm mostly a desktop guy, I have my desktop at home for gaming and most other needs and I do have a Dell "gaming" laptop for portability but most days it just gets used for work laptop duties which is... Less than ideal as it's heavy, bulky and needs to go with a big charger, so I was hoping to get something dedicated. Unfortunately I'm abit lost since specs don't really seem to focus on what's important to me so I was hoping for some help.

I work with spreadsheets and web apps so I reckon any potato would work for me, specs wise. At most it must have an ssd for faster booting, tough i assume that's a given nowadays.

What I was hoping for is something that's light and thin so I can plop it in my bag without dislocating my shoulder. Also it really needs to charge via usb-c as Im tired of lugging around a power brick, as well as connect a second screen via usb-c. Ideally it'd have 2 ports and be able to do both at the same time, but I have a feeling I'm over reaching at that point 😅

I'm flexible on the budget tough obvious I'd rather not overpay for a glorified Excel runner so let's say under 1k?

Thank you for any help!

Edit: Windows only.
