Had an emergency plumbing issue and now I'm a couple weeks behind. One of the best tools I saw appear for LTX 2.3 was LTX Director. I'm wondering if anything like this has appeared that the whole community likes for H3 yet.
A struggling screenwriter makes a wish that other people people were more like him and would appreciate his work, and star twinkles in the night. The next morning he awakens to discover the entire population of the planet has been replaced by... him! At first it's amazing, and all his screenplays are greenlit, and he's never been happier, but he gradually descends into madness and depression when he realizes he's more alone than ever. Throw in an awkward romance and a third act redemption. Starring Ryan George.
I've tended to just go with whatever I've been given, for example Qwen image edit templates seem to always want Qwen 2.5VL 7B scaled models, but can other more recent qwen VL models work? etc.
I'm looking to control my workflows better with more consistent characters, and it seems clear to me that custom LORAs are the way to go. Once upon a time I tuned/trained a few SD 1.5 models (pre-lora) on my 3090, but everything has changed so much. I could use a nudge in the right direction. I'm looking for easy of use more than anything.
I've falling a bit behind on what's what. Last I knew Qwen Edit 2511 was the most competent editing model for local use in comfyui, while z-image turbo was putting out some of the best "generated from scratch" visuals, but the actual output of Qwen Edit was/is often way to smooth and creamy, without texture, but I've been so absorbed in my own projects, so I no longer know what's what. Wondering if someone can give me a rundown on the current state of things. I'm using an rtx 3090 (24gb) with 64 GB system ram, for what it's worth.
For what it's worth, I'm using my MT3000, trying VPN tunnel to my home router MT6000 with them running as client and server respectively with wireguard. I can ALMOST get it working but it seems like I need to change the IP of my MT3000 to something like 192.168.2.1 so that it doesn't conflict with the MT6000 at home (I basically want to access my home machines as if they were on the same local network). The problem seems to be when I change that IP all sorts of issues happen, partially locking me out of the router. My public keys seem to be working.
And yes, I'm trying to ssh back in with the new address, not the old.
Wondering if anyone has been through this mess and found their way through it? I'm new to this so I've had some help here and there, but I'm at a loss atm.
I've been steered toward a couple of the more recent GL.iNet Wi-Fi 7 Flint 3 routers for isolation and control over my network, including keeping certain machines completely off the internet while still connected to the others. I haven't really done advanced networking in a long time but I've been starting to gain more confidence lately. Anyway regarding privacy, I've been digging around and I do hear some concern over the tweaked version of open WRT that's installed in these but most of that conversation was from several years ago, so I have no idea what the current consensus is. Do we trust these routers? Is there any reason not to? I'd appreciate your thoughts.
