Nuclear Eng program decision

Hi all, I am finishing up my final year of high school, in the fall I intend on heading into nuclear engineering, but I have some difficult decisions to make (good problems to have lol). Canadian Citizen

Currently I have been accepted to

University of Toronto for engineering science

McMaster Engineering (free choice) + 15K CAD scholarship + 6K CAD in research experience funding

Any advice would be appreciated, the schools are equidistant for me, I can’t really decide between UofT and Mac, I know Mac has a research reactor, and guaranteed lab work in year 3 and 4 with it, but at the same time UofT Engsci is one of the best Eng program in the country (if not the best) they do have a nuclear specialty as a sub program, but idk…

EDIT: end goal would be to get CNSC licence to be a reactor operator

IPSC Ontario

I got in too late, should’ve been 25 instead of being 13 in 2021. Is there any hope or cope or way to get into dynamic IPSC style shooting, shotgun or rifle in Ontario, I can’t find anything that, doesn’t need a handgun or black badge… IPSC Ontarios website and email hasn’t been useful for jack shit yet, idk why they airing me…

Please help 🙏

Ammo Advice 308 F-Class / PRS

First off, before anyone says it, I know 308 is not optimal for 1000yd shooting, but 308 and 30-06 (Side question is 30-06 better for 1k yd?) are the only platforms available for me to borrow due to constraints. Eventually, I will put the fries in the bag and go to 6.5CM, however, for the time being, I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this ammunition.

Ive shot 1-2 days of F-Class as well as NRL22, and I'd really prefer not to spend 4-5 bucks a round, but at the same time I don't want to be cheap and regret not spending marginally more...

Sincerely, a broke student <3 (IK this ain't a broke ppl sport...)
