My boy was 90% fur

Had to get groomed because his fur was tangling despite getting brushed several times a day. He is so small now!

My rescue Atlas has a black pigmentation change on his lips and chin and he looks adorable

It’s not anything bad, it’s natural. It’s also not cat acne, it’s just a pigment change.

Cleaning cat bed?

My boy has long hair and his winter coat is in full swing. He has a cat tree with a large bed on top and a cushion.

I brush it with a lint brush every day but realised I have never washed the large cushion and had it over a year. Do you generally wash your cat cushions/beds? It doesn’t smell just thinking if it’s worth doing or not. I know they are sensitive to smell changes so just curious

Back spasms?

Every year i suddenly get this horrible back spasm that causes me to be bed ridden for days as it’s too painful to move.

A long time ago a doctor told me it was the intercostal muscles between my ribs flaring up because my ribs don’t quite line up due to pectus and like an earthquake the tension builds and then suddenly releases.

Has anyone else with pectus experienced this as well? It’s bloody annoying as it just happened.
