Why do people use the Kodiak helmet for their space-marine build?

I don’t see it, the Kodiak looks nothing like a space-marine’s helmet if anything the cinderblock looks more like it.

I recently got my hands on the Camo backpack from a nice guy who gave it to me and I’m trying to come up with an outfit for it.

I’m currently using the “Freedom Forge Uniform”, “Lookout Hood”, and “Pipers Goggles”.

I’m trying to come up with something to use as the mask but I’m not sure which one to use and I’d also like other recommendations, in case something looks better than what I’m using.

I recently got my hands on these 2 from my dad’s old stuff.

I’d like to display them but as you can see they have yellowed even though they were in a box in an attic.

Is there any way to un-yellow them, I’ve heard hydrogen peroxide can un-yellow them but it’ll damage the plastic so I’m not using that
