Well I did it (4.5in circ saw)

Y'all may have seen my post before, but I regretted not buying the 4.5 kit since it was out for Black Friday. I told myself I didn't need it and I don't, but I'm doing enough stuff around the house that it feels somewhat justified. I have the 7-1/4 brushless and a corded 10in miter and table saw. There have been a few instances where I have had to track down the 7-1/4 for 1 cut. Also the 7-1/4 just feels bulky for 1-handed cuts. This little guy seems like the perfect portable saw, to cut up boards so they can fit in the suv rather than throwing them on the roof rack or dragging into the attic with me. At first thought, it's definitely not powerful, but that's alright. Really some sheet goods cuts and some 2x4 crosscuts are all I'm planning for this. And for $80, it's not too bad a deal, nice to have the little HP battery to go with. What do y'all think of yours? What blades are you using in this?

Nader? Electrical haywire under max load

Wife told me the car was acting funny today. With lights, A/C, wipers on, she idles erratically, throws a bunch of lights, etc. Battery tests good. Reading around 12.5-13v at battery with only A/C and lights. Can't get a consistent reading with all 3 on as the idle is all over the place.

I pulled the trigger on this guy over the weekend. The 8.5 was the same price as the old generation "on clearance" for ITC members. When we bought our house, there was a ramp up to the front steps. For some reason, when they put the 4x4s in, they poured the concrete connected to the sidewalk. So I cut the boards off close, but I couldn't dig out the 4x4s without cracking the concrete from the sidewalk. This thing made easy work of concrete work, it felt like cutting through butter! Great new tool, just 7ish left.
