Hi neighbors!
Tomorrow is my daughter’s first day of Pre-K. Can I drive to the school and park and walk her to the door? She’s used to the WVU child learning center where I walk her inside to her classroom and I’ve been explaining to her that it won’t be that way anymore, but I just want to walk her up her first day. Sorry I’m new to this 😅 TIA!
I need a place to go eat with my husband where I can really say wow service and food were fire. Examples of my taste, we went to Bourbon Prime not too long ago and the Butchers Charcuterie board was phenomenal. Went to the Wine Bar a couple weeks ago and the drinks were delicious and I loved the Brussels sprouts of all things 😅 any suggestions? I was thinking possibly Table 9 but seeing what else may be out there that’s a hidden gem.
Long story kind of short… stepchildren live in middle-NC and we’re trying to move closer to them (they are in the piedmont triad area and my husband and I are in WV near WVU). I’m a fan of coastal Carolina. Interviewing in Wilmington in the next 2 weeks. Married, mid 30’s (both of us), kids together are 1, 2, and 4. We’re coming from the Northeast/Appalachia (SW Pennsylvania and North Central WV backgrounds). I’m an HR executive currently and my husband is a jack-of-all trades (welding professional, marble & tile flooring experience from when we lived in Florida), I also worked in serving/bartending for 14 years before I finished my Master’s in HR. Looking for general advice, areas to avoid, and mostly information on autism services. My 2 year old is severely autistic, and I’d prefer to move to a school district with good support (we will be bringing an IEP from WV with us).
