For anyone going to FAN EXPO Anaheim Special Edition next weekend: I’m bringing Serenity, the Firefly Tribute Truck onto the convention floor at booth CCAR03 (June 26–28). See attached map. Captain Star will be appearing on Saturday and will be happy to take photos with you and the truck.
If you’ve seen photos of the wrap online and wanted to check it out in person, this is your chance. Come by for pictures, Firefly talk, and a close look at all the little details.

Hey Browncoats. Some of you have seen Serenity before — fully wrapped 2007 Chevy Colorado, Firefly tribute since 2021, my daily driver. Mal portrait, ship art, "You Can't Take The Sky From Me," "I Aim to Misbehave," the works.
Last Saturday she rolled in the 36th Annual Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade through the Tower District. Pride flags up top, rainbow bunting across the grille, Firefly flags flying right next to the Pride ones. The crowd reaction was incredible — Browncoats spotting the wrap, families pointing at Mal, everyone in good spirits.
Six years of driving this truck has been six years of showing up — cons, car shows, parades, daily driver stuff. Every appearance keeps Firefly in front of new eyes.
Next stop is FAN EXPO Anaheim June 26–28 if any of you are around.

Well, great. They have added a planner. So instead of working when I want, I have to set a schedule and of course, there are no times available in my selected area. Hate the new change!

I took my Firefly Tribute Truck — Serenity — to the Park & Shop Car Show in Clovis, CA yesterday. I regularly attend events like this, as well as cons, charity events, parades and more to show off my truck and promote Firefly.
I’ve been driving Serenity as a tribute to the show for six years now. It’s not just a show car — it’s my only vehicle. I use it for work, grocery runs, and as the fandom’s most visible rolling billboard.
Right now, though, Serenity is sitting on a $3,000 repair bill — brakes, ABS sensor, transfer case — and I’m shouldering it alone. With your help, I’m trying to change that.

Was watching The Poseidon Adventure mini series and Adam Baldwin is in it (top billing even). Came out in 2005. I wonder if it was before or after Serenity.
Was trying to figure out why this guy looked familiar. Then I was like, duh, that’s Michael Trucco, DA Del Monte from The Rookie (and Demming from Castle). This is from season 6 of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.
