Title says it. I am finding it so difficult to find a boatneck pattern for this top/dress.
I really like the A-line skirt rather than a peplum that flares out.
I'm low-intermediately skilled so I can do some pattern alterations but I'd really like something as close as possible.

Looking for help lengthening this pattern by 4cms. Because the seams are not straight if you add length you also narrow the width.
I first attempted to trace and extend the lines but that was a mess. Then I went the "easy" way, cutting horizontally and adding a 4cm piece but this also required that I cut the bottom in half and overlap it by over 1cm to make the lines match.
In the end I went ahead and sewed it it was "ok" but still small...
I guess I need to slash and spread but where do I make the pivot for the spread?
I can't find anything online.

I have a swimsuit that I really like and got for free even though it's typically a ~160.00
The issue is I am 5'11 and, while I can technically wear it, it gets pretty high cut in the bottom and causes some major squishing up top (it's too short, is what I'm saying).
I'm considering lengthining it and need advice on the approach. Would you:
a) add some swim fabric to the straps by opening the seam there, thus adding some length/room? (Safer but perhaps less effective)
b) cut the baby in half and add either matching swimsuit fabric or mesh to the middle? (Dangerous, more technically difficult, potentially more effective)
c) other please explain
