Helpful Tips/Encouragement

Hey y’all I just wanted to stop by and let you know that you can do this. Don’t give up!! Also, while this was on my mind, I wanted to share more helpful tips.

Before you start your program, go to the WGU website and get familiar with what classes you have to take. Also, do more research about them and see what you can find. I created this account before starting my program and immediately started asking questions about my courses. I also recently joined five FB groups. The names of those groups are: Western Governors University
(WGU) Students, WGU School of Business, WGU School of Business, WGU Master's Human Resource Management Support, and Black at WGU. I have noticed that people are sometimes more willing to answer certain questions about a class in these groups.

Helpful WGU Tip

Hey y’all, if you find a Quizlet or any other documents that might help you pass a class, make sure you save a private copy. Sometimes, WGU takes down shared documents, or they get deleted for other reasons.

Advice on the Best Luggage with a TSA-Approved Lock

Hey ya'll! I'm looking for recommendations for high-quality luggage with a built-in TSA-approved lock. I'm planning to travel more often, including by plane and on cruises, so I'm looking for something durable that will last for years. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Virgin Voyages Tips

Hey y'all. I'm planning on sailing with Virgin for the first time next year. Please feel free to share some helpful tips/advice. For example, what is the best bag to bring for carrying your items on and off the ship? If you have been on the Bob Marley tour, what are the best shoes to wear? Do I need to leave my passport on the ship or bring it with me, etc?

D435 and C207

For those of you who have already passed C207 and D435, did you read all the chapters in the textbook to pass the OA, or did you use Quizlet to help you? Also, are these two classes hard like C201?

WGU Accelerators

Has anyone else tried getting accepted into the WGU Accelerators group and been denied? I think I was denied because last night I clicked on join group, and it said my request was sent. I went to check today, and now it says join group again.

Added note: There are no questions to answer, and I requested to join using my real FB page. I'm just trying to make sure I'm not missing something.

I almost passed C201 on the first try

Since I already knew C201 would be scenario-based rather than vocabulary-based, I studied some Quizlets that other students found helpful and the questions at the end of the textbooks. I did not just memorize the right answers. I used ChatGPT to help me break the question down, spot patterns, ask for study tips, etc.

I thought, since other students have shared their experiences of not passing C201 on the first try, I wouldn’t be too emotional if I did not pass the first time, but I was wrong. I beat myself up, I feel like, if I didn't go back and second-guess myself on a few questions, I would have passed 🥲

When I first started D432, I was overwhelmed and didn't know how I was going to retain all the information I needed in 8 weeks. Well, I'm here to tell you it's possible. What I did was read all the chapters and take the practice quizzes.

Reading the chapters and doing the practice quizzes did help me, but I honestly feel that if I had taken the PA first and then asked Chat to break down the questions and answers, I still would have passed the OA. I noticed on the OA that I was basically being asked the same questions, just with different wording.
