26 courses in a month and a half (hopefully)

So for some short context: I started wgu September 2025, and my 2nd term ends at the end of August 2026. I only want to be in school for a year. But I've been slacking on my work. So now I am left with 26 courses in a month and a half. (Well technically 24 because I've already knocked out 2.) So I will be posting updates here until I either finish my degree this term or have to have another one.

I don't really think it's possible but I can sure try. Does anyone have any tips?

OWL DONE!

All done with all my courses. I am beyond excited and proud of myself. Finished the whole degree in 1 term, well, in 5 months. I transferred in credits from an Associate's degree at my community college, and 2 courses I took on Sophia. So, I had 17 courses to complete, including my HRM Capstone.

For anyone starting out, just know it can be done, and soon enough, you'll be all done. Keep your end goal in mind and keep pushing through.

WGU IS A JOKE

They want you to believe they’re a real school so badly, but every corner you turn there’s more lies. False advertisement, excessive wait times, things that don’t happen at any other school. It’s actually ridiculous.

ETA:

1. There are typos in objective assessments and note-taking guides. The note guides even have answers written directly under the questions randomly. It makes it harder to actually learn because you can’t tell what’s correct instruction vs. mistakes vs. provided answers. It also just feels inconsistent and poorly reviewed overall.

  1. When you submit an assignment, evaluators will often focus on one small issue and return it without reviewing the rest of the work. So instead of getting full feedback at once, you end up in repeated revision cycles that double the time to complete a task.

  2. If your mentor is out sick and Tier 1 support can’t help, there’s no clear substitute even after asking for one or backup mentor system. You’re basically stuck waiting.

  3. Financial aid revisions are quoted at up to 10 weeks. That is extremely long compared to what most people expect in higher education systems, especially when it directly affects enrollment or progress.

D775!!!!!!! HELPPPPPP

I made a post like 6 days ago regarding my final 3 courses, I wanted to update that I completed and crammed the life of D099 in 24 hours (almost failed, ahhh) and C722 in another 24 hours (just took the OA and did pretty well), I am one week out of surgery and in pain and tired as heck but today is my last day of the term and I have not slept at all. I have one class left and then I graduate!!!! My final class is D775, anyone have any tips? Need to get it done before the end of day!

I finally passed D467!!!

D464 was a source of pure anxiety for me but today I finally made it to the finish line.

I scheduled my OA for 10:30pm…. Due to the absolutely wonderful ProctorU I did not begin until 12:50am😒 which had my nerves going bonkers but I got through it successfully!!

My tip for this course is to take the PA immediately just to gauge what you may or may not know then go through the Coursera via 1.5x speed. Once complete, review the Study Guide in the student resources. After reviewing upload the study guide to Chat GPT and request that it create a “wordy” practice test that covers the material shown on the study guide.

Once you successfully get through that take the PA once more. If you pass go ahead and schedule the OA for the same or next day while the information is still fresh!

Good Luck 🍀

What's a fair starting salary for an On-Site General Manager at a HOA

I'm looking for some insight from people who work in HOA/community association management.

Let's say someone is being considered for an On-Site General Manager position at a large HOA in the DMV.

The candidate has:

  • A Bachelor's degree .
  • Several years of HOA Board experience
  • Leadership and operations experience.
  • No prior paid community association management experience.

What would you consider a fair starting salary?

At what salary would you consider the offer:

  • Too low?
  • Fair?
  • Strong?

I'd especially like to hear from current CAMs, General Managers, Regional Managers, or HOA Board members.

Tips? D775, D099, AND C722

So I have 6 days left in my term and only 3 classes left, I had surgery on the 22nd and my mentor asked for extensions on the finance course for me as it has no videos to watch and I am a slow reader. Still I wanna try to finish all 3 classes. I did D080 in under 24 hours which I was told was just as hard as D099. I think I can do it but still want tips on what to do, I will get back to studying tomorrow as I get home tomorrow from the hospital. I even just resubmitted my capstone too so that is why I am not including this here (only had to redo 4 parts of my capstone, pretty easy). I really dont want to have to do a second term. Please no negative or snarky comments, if you are going to be rude just don't comment. Thanks in advance.
