For anyone who transferred Sophia/Study.com credits + accelerated 14 OAs

For anyone who transferred as many Sophia and study.com courses as possible before starting/restarting at WGU:
How long did the readmission/transfer evaluation process take from submitting your transcripts to being cleared to start?
If you had 14 OA (proctored) classes left, how long did it take you to complete all 14?
How many hours a day were you studying?
Were the 14 classes mostly accounting/business courses, and were any significantly harder or more time-consuming than the others?
I’m trying to figure out if finishing 14 OAs in about 1.5 months is realistic. Any experiences would be really helpful!
For accounting btw

C213 please help!

Hello fellow owls! I went ahead and took the PA raw for C213 and after studying and feeling confident I took the OA however, in my first attempt on the OA, I did not pass. I’m a little disappointed, but I know that it is OK and I have additional tries. Can somebody please guide me and let me know what is the best approach to pass this class? Any and all suggestions will be helpful. Ty!

Pursuing a bachelors degree is business admin/management

Hello

I am thinking about enrolling in at WGU and pursuing a degree in business management/admin. Anyone that has graduated or is currently in the process of taking classes to graduate in this program I’m looking for advice. I currently come from a healthcare profession. I’m looking for details such as are the classes hard, do you think it’s doable working full-time? Overall, how is your experience and is it overall worth getting the degree? I’m very nervous as you can tell. Typically how long does it take to graduate/ finish classes?

D470

Has anyone recently taken and passed this class? I am begging for any good pointers at this point 😭 I have failed my 4th attempt awaiting 5th attempt approval.

Out of the entire degree ive never failed a class this much, maybe the most i ever failed was 3x for one class.

The OA is super application based and every time i view the answer options its always two could be right so its choosing between whichever is MORE right which obviously I cant even do that. Im super frustrated.

The Face of WGU

I’m a recent graduate with BSCNE and received this email. The Alumni Coordinator that reached out to me said “Since there are only about 115 BSCNE alumni nationwide, I figured this was a group worth reaching out to directly.” I find that an amazingly low number for this degree and this school, but maybe. 🤷‍♂️

If you’re a recent graduate and interested in a weekend in SLC, reach out to your Alumni coordinator and BE THE FACE OF WGU!! lol

NEW HERE! HOPING I AM IN THE RIGHT PLACE! Are these 12 Business Management courses still transferable in 2026?

Hello To The Community!

I just joined Reddit and this community, so I really hope I am on the right page for the WGU BS in Business Management program! If there is a better or more specific subreddit for this degree, please let me know.

I am trying to map out my transfer strategy for 2026 using third-party platforms (like Sophia and Study.com), but I am getting really conflicted information online about what is actually allowed to transfer right now.

I am currently signed up with STUDY.COM but if they are not available there then I will use other options.

Could anyone who recently went through the evaluation process look at my list and tell me which of these are still transferable, and which ones I will definitely have to take directly through WGU?

Here are the 12 courses I am looking at:

D388 — Fundamentals of Spreadsheets and Data Presentations (3 CU)

D081 — Innovative and Strategic Thinking (3 CU)

D353 — Strategic Training and Development (3 CU)

D354 — Talent Acquisition (3 CU)

D253 — Values-Based Leadership (3 CU)

C721 — Change Management (3 CU)

C717 — Business Ethics (3 CU)

D099 — Sales Management (3 CU)

D175 — Consumer Behavior (3 CU)

QGT1 — Business Management Capstone Written Project (4 CU)

QHT1 — Business Management Tasks (3 CU)

D361 — Business Simulation (4 CU)

Thank you all so much for the help and for this community!

Career Advancement after WGU

Hello WGU students and alumni,

I am looking to advance my career and am hoping to encounter another redditor who was in a similar position to mine. I have been with X company for over 5 years and moved to a “career” position in Operations as a production supervisor 3 years ago. I am looking to make my next move within my career whether in or outside of X company, likely needing a degree to surpass my peers or make a lateral/vertical move “requiring” a degree.

Who earner their degree from WGU and excelled in their career shortly after? I am looking at BS in Business management or Project management.

Is it better to get the Capstone over with right away, or wait a bit so it doesn't look Iike I got a Master's degree in a month?

I thoroughly enjoyed this degree, and it definitely challenged me at times, but I'm worried that I completed it too fast. I took a two-week break after C214 to try and pace myself, but I hate leaving things incomplete. I'm just afraid that it will raise suspicion when I list on my resume that I started in July and finished in August

I need 10 electives which ones are easy?

I need 10 credits in SNHU electives anyone know of any classes I can take that don’t have home work that takes a whole day to grade assignments.

Leave a comment if you have suggestions thank you.

I plan on graduating in 2 months. Hence not wanting to take hard or have lengthy wait times for assignments🤪

I passed my Business (5101) Praxis: Here's what I Used

Hi all, relatively new, but I started following this sub when I was looking for material to help with praxis studying. I found very little for the business (5101), in general, for free. I made a 181/200, and wanted to share my thoughts for future soon-to-be business teachers.

My background: BS in Accounting, working on my MAT for licensure in business education; been subbing about a year

Materials:

I student teach next semester, so I cut my testing really close, but it is possible. I passed my PLT 7-12, too, using study.com and stuff from school. I didn't buy practice tests, test taking books, or anything.

Good luck to any future business educators!
