I need help. Touch has never been a top, love language for me, now or ever. Like bottom of the list almost always.
I’m older and in a new marriage and the more he annoys me the less I wanna touch him. I worry it’s going to take its toll.
I literally could go weeks and months without it. He wants it constantly (in my opinion).
From those who care about their partners and maybe have a little touch aversion … how do you try to make them happy?
I do all the crap the book says: try to hold his hand, try to give a hug, he gets laid once a week-ish, try to make a point to cuddle for a little bit, but it never seems to be enough.
I have a small child and maybe going through perimenopause - could be attributing to my … mood.

My ‘person’ takes a bath regularly but I feel like they kind of smells from sitting in their own … pool of ick (?) from the day.
Look - as an adult I get the appeal of a bath, not daily. I kind of view it for 4 year olds … not for someone in their 40s.
How do I explain a this without being super rude? Not to mention they don’t clean the bathtub often and I can see the ring of ick growing and they don’t seem bothered - which might not help my view of this.
Thanks to all the chatter on this forum - I was able to ease my anxiety about trying to receive the NIPT results.
One of the best tips I got from here was that the test showed up quicker than the email. For me, it was almost 3 days since I saw the test results on the platform, then when the email alert came.
So for anyone waiting for the results - I agree with what I read on here is once they received your sample wait a good week before you start checking excessively. Ha.
