First Game

Going to my first game this year (either Iowa or Minnesota game). What are some of the best sections to be at and some to stay away from?

Sound System Replacement

I have a ‘26 Premium but due to the update and the dealership being backlogged, they lent me a ‘26 Outback that has allllll the bells and whistles. Which includes the much nicer sound system and while there’s probably better sounding ones for other brands, this was incredibly better than the setup I have.

Curious if anyone has ever replaced their sound system on the Solterra or have recommendations to do so because I basically just want what’s in the Outback haha

Feeling Stuck

- 53/120 though July of 2024 through May of 2026 were in forbearance and not counted in that 53 months.
- Forced onto SAVE and if I switch to the IBR (which is the lowest) it’s $498/month.

Speaking with FASFA, they informed me the forbearance months from July ‘24 through May ‘26 could be counted for the buyback once I hit 120 months. What I’m currently confused at (mind is all stress and foggy with this), even though I’ve been working 7 straight years through a qualified employer and will continue, once I hit that 10 year mark, I can submit a buyback for that lost time and be done with all this?

Am I missing anything? Should I continue waiting on the SAVE ordeal or just switch to IBR and start the $498 payments?

Thinking of Purchasing?

For those that are interested in purchasing a new Solterra and were worried about range being less than others, I’ve had mine for a couple months now and it’s been great!

Driving mostly highway but even with that, I have been consistently averaging long term of the 4.8 miles per kWh. Level 1 charging at home takes care of my needs as my work commute is usually short. Hopefully this helps those considering a new purchase!

I did learn to not park on the last charger at a Tesla supercharger as I have to be damn near over the curb to make the cable reach because of the charge port door 🤦🏽‍♂️

Expectations

Wife is needing a lease but want to have clear expectations. Ideally under $320/month, definitely $0 down (other than first payment), and 10k miles.

In Denver, Colorado area (open to going just about anywhere in state and open to using broker just never done a lease before, so want to know how it all works. No brand loyalty for this car, just literally need a crossover/SUV for next 24-36 months to get by.

Visiting Lucca

Visiting Lucca and surrounding area in a few weeks. Would love to get recent recommendations on date night things, fun/easy hikes, wineries that are actually worth it, a dinner spot to splurge on (anniversary), and any good spas.

Goal is just to use local transportation! Want to stay away from areas where we’d just be bumping elbows with people.
