[3] The 25K GeoDetective challenge (no time limit, 100% pinpointable) - Series 29: #12 (MIN THREE DAYS - LAST IN SERIES)

Link to challenge 12 series 29. Congratulations to FtoT TinOF for coming top (3 points, 8 yards) and to both Gronoob and LaDecadence for second place (2 points, 12 yards). All other 25K's get one point. Table is updated below. FtoT TinOF can win the series by coming second, Brussels Waffles can join him by winning if he is closer than FtoT TinOF, and Stranded can still be joint winner if the other two get zero. However, there's loads more points at play that carry over into the overall tally which is a separate table, so all do your best!

Today's is the last of series 29, and it's not an easy one, which is why I have said that it will last three days. At least two of them (R2 and R5) are hard to fathom out but you end up realising that it can't be anywhere else, if you know what I mean. Or there may be one tiny POV that tallies with the map once you've found the rough location. You'll see what I mean. And, as always: take your time; there's no extra points for doing it quickly.

This is the twelfth (and last) of the twenty-ninth series based on my own GeoDetective map. No moving, no time-limit (take your time!). There is always a clue somewhere that will help you pinpoint the location, some are easier than others. Feel free to leave walkthroughs in comments or ask where the clue was if you missed it, but always use the spoiler tag so as not to spoil it for others! Official coverage only.

PS If you enjoy my maps, apparently I (Tristán White) can be nominated as a "community champion". Also, they are taking map nominations also. The main map link is here (all official locations on daily challenges get added to the main map): https://www.geoguessr.com/maps/67005e58e964d817bdd84c05

[3] The 25K GeoDetective challenge (no time limit, 100% pinpointable) - Series 29: #11 (MIN TWO DAYS)

Link to challenge 11 series 29. Congratulations to moonradio for top spot (3 points, 7 yards) and to FtoT TinOF who came second (2 points, 9 yards). All other 25K's get one point. Table is updated below.

Today's is a mixed bunch, and it's hard to say whether any of them will be truly challenging, though R5 may take a little longer than the others. Though, as always: take your time; there's no extra points for doing it quickly.

This is the eleventh of the twenty-ninth series based on my own GeoDetective map. No moving, no time-limit (take your time!). [3] The 25K GeoDetective challenge (no time limit, 100% pinpointable) - Series 29: #10 (MIN TWO DAYS)

Link to challenge 10 series 29. Congratulations to three of you who came top: Stranded on the Moon, LaDecadence and Brussels Waffles (3 points, 8 yards) and to FtoT TinOF who came second (2 points, 11 yards). All other 25K's get one point. Table is updated below.

Today's is a fairly routine round, with probably R5 talking a little longer though again it shouldn't cause too many problems. As always: take your time; there's no extra points for doing it quickly.

This is the tenth of the twenty-ninth series based on my own GeoDetective map. No moving, no time-limit (take your time!). [3] The 25K GeoDetective challenge (no time limit, 100% pinpointable) - Series 29: #09 (TWO DAYS - ESC AUTOMATIC FINALISTS - SEE NOTES)

Link to challenge 9 series 29. Congratulations to Brussels Waffles for top spot (3 points, 9 yards) and to Stranded on the Moon for second place (2 points, 13 yards). All other 25K's get one point. Table is updated below.

In today's challenge, we have the four birthtowns of the automatic qualifiers (Austria, France, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom). The groups are ordered in order of my favourites, ending with my number one of the five in question. As before, it doesn't matter if you don't follow the contest, as far as you're concerned this is a normal challenge. All official locations this time, and three of the five acts are not born in the country they are representing, which does mean that the map is slightly more forgiving in that not all locations are in Europe. As always, the town name will be visible somewhere. As always: take your time; there's no extra points for doing it quickly.

This is the ninth of the twenty-ninth series based on my own GeoDetective map. No moving, no time-limit (take your time!). There is always a clue somewhere that will help you pinpoint the location, some are easier than others. [3] The 25K GeoDetective challenge (no time limit, 100% pinpointable) - Series 29: #08 (TWO DAYS - ESC SEMI 2 - ONE UNOFFICIAL LOCATION - SEE NOTES)

Link to challenge 8 series 29. Congratulations to (and this has never happened before) five players who all came top: pearleffect, Vik, Lyloor, Alex and Dr. Niamor ALL win (3 points, 19 yards), and three of you came second: Johanna, Kchamb and FtoT TinOF (2 points, 20 yards). This has never happened before so it's most unusual and fun! All other 25K's get one point. Table is updated below.

In today's challenge, we again celebrate the Eurovision song contest. Today is all about Semifinal 2. As before, it doesn't matter if you don't follow the contest, as far as you're concerned this is a normal challenge, with the exception that R1 is unofficial coverage as it includes a country that has no official coverage. I have checked the compass etc and it is fine. In each case the location is the birthtown of my top 5 from Semifinal 1, in order from my fifth place to my top spot. The town name as ever will be visible somewhere. Please also note that, because all these locations are in Europe, the map is a lot less forgiving than on my usual world challenges! In the last challenge, 33 yards out was enough to end up getting 4999. However, as always: take your time; there's no extra points for doing it quickly.

This is the eighth of the twenty-ninth series based on my own GeoDetective map. No moving, no time-limit (take your time!). There is always a clue somewhere that will help you pinpoint the location, some are easier than others. Feel free to leave walkthroughs in comments or ask where the clue was if you missed it, but always use the spoiler tag so as not to spoil it for others! With the exception of R1, official coverage only.

[3] The 25K GeoDetective challenge (no time limit, 100% pinpointable) - Series 29: #07 (TWO DAYS - ESC SEMI 1 - ONE UNOFFICIAL LOCATION - SEE NOTES)

Link to challenge 7 series 29. Congratulations to Brussels Waffles for top spot (3 points, 11 yards), and a quadruple second place tie for pearleffect, Sonny, LaDecadence and moonradio (2 points, 14 yards). All other 25K's get one point. Table is updated below.

In today's challenge, we celebrate the Eurovision Song Contest (all week). Today is about Semifinal 1. It doesn't matter if you don't follow the contest, as as far as you're concerned this is a normal challenge, with the exception that R3 is unofficial coverage as it includes a country that has no official coverage. I have checked the location etc and it is fine (though the compass may not be, but it won't matter). In each case the location is the birthtown of my top 5 from Semifinal 1 (with R1 being my favourite from the semifinal). The town name as ever will be visible somewhere. Please also note that, because all these locations are in Europe, the map is a lot less forgiving than on my usual world challenges! However, as always: take your time; there's no extra points for doing it quickly.

[3] The 25K GeoDetective challenge (no time limit, 100% pinpointable) - Series 29: #06 (TWO DAYS)

Link to challenge 6 series 29. Congratulations to FtoT TinOF for top spot (3 points, 10 yards) and to Brussels Waffles for the number two spot (2 points, 11 yards). All other 25K's get one point. Table is updated below.

In today's challenge, this is quite an easy one as we are preparing for some quick-fire two-dayers during next week. R5 may take the longest, but it shouldn't be too hard. But, as always: take your time; there's no extra points for doing it quickly.

[3] The 25K GeoDetective challenge (no time limit, 100% pinpointable) - Series 29: #05 (THREE DAYS)

Link to challenge 5 series 29. Congratulations to HeroOnGuitar (welcome back!) AND to Gronoob for top spot (3 points, 11 yards) and to all three of EniJ, Stranded on the Moon and LaDecadence for second place (2 points, 12 yards). Table is updated below.

After having had a nightmare in Spain trying to extend my Schengen visa to look after my dad, I am now back in the UK (bloody Brexit). Sorry about the huge wait since the last challenge. It does mean that for the next couple of weeks, these will be more regular again. This is a three-dayer, but am hoping that next week will all be two-dayers.

In today's challenge, there is only one which is really really tricky, and that is R5. And yes, the town name is there. Somewhere. :D And, as always: take your time; there's no extra points for doing it quickly.

Link to challenge 4 series 29. Congratulations to Stranded on the Moon for top spot (3 points, 13 yards) and to both Indigo Octopus and to derPate for second place (2 points, 15 yards). All other 25K'ers get 1 point. Table is updated below.

In today's challenge, this will be a walk in the park compared to yesterday's. I hope it'll only be a three-dayer. I'm dealing with a lot here, and am about to overstay my Schengen visa (thank you, Brexit voters) and trying to get an extension on humanitarian grounds but don't have the right paperwork. So who knows where I'll be for challenge 5. But, as always: take your time; there's no extra points for doing it quickly.

Link to challenge 3 series 29. Congratulations to CARLOSDALL for top spot (3 points, 4 yards) and to TCN (2 points, 7 yards). I do hope there were no shenanigans: I don't think anyone has legitimately scored 4 points before. All other 25K'ers get 1 point. Table is updated below.

As you may have guessed, those that know that I am currently acting as carer to my very sick father in Spain, I cannot deliver challenges as often as I would like. Because I will be at least four days again with this one, I have made at least four of the locations more challenging than usual, so that at least you have more time.

In today's challenge, you will find that some of them are quite hard, but R5 in a particular will be a stinker for some of you. however, my hint is to remember where the round spawns, as it could prove useful in pinpointing the location. Don't expect any really close rounds, the pinpointing it quite off on a couple of these, in particular in R2, so aim primarily for 25K. And, as always: take your time; there's no extra points for doing it quickly.

This is the third of the twenty-ninth series based on my own GeoDetective map. No moving, no time-limit (take your time!).
