If you don't have a permanent set up, how do you store your track?

I am planning to get a Carrera Digital 132 set for Christmas, but I do not currently have space for a permanent set up. For those of you without a permanent set up, how do you store your track when you aren't using it? Also any tips or tricks for maximizing space when setting up your track and storing it would be appreciated. Thank you!

Where to buy Carrera 132 online in the US?

I recently posted asking about getting into the slot car hobby. Since then I have spent the day doing some research, and I think I have decided to go with a Carrera 132 digital set. I mentioned in my other post that I am in a rural area and there are no clubs or hobby shops nearby. What are some websites you like to use for the best deals on Carrera cars, sets, and accessories? I have tried to look online, but every post or video I find seems to be three or more years old. Also, if you have recommendations for good accessories to add early I am interested in that, as well. Most of my research into that makes me believe it should be shoulders for all of my curves, but any advice beyond that is welcome, also. Thank you!

Advice for someone considering getting into the hobby...

Hello! I have been interested in slot cars for some time. My father got me a few sets in the early to mid-90s because he played with slot cars as a kid. Now I have kids of my own, and I think they might enjoy slot cars.

The sets I had as a kid were HO scale sets from Tyco (at least that is how I am remembering it). The cars were about the size of Hot Wheels cars. I grew out of them pretty quickly, and that is the basic extent of my experience with slot cars.

I have done some research online and read the FAQ here, but I was hoping to get some info from people in the hobby.

Analog definitely appears to be the least expensive way to get back into things, but is digital better to the point I should just start there? $50+ for a single car would be a pretty big investment for me, but if buying cheaper stuff just meant I would inevitably be replacing it wouldn't really help much.

1/32 seems to be the most popular scale, but are other scales supported as well as 1/32? I didn't even realize there were scales other than HO. I have a 6'x4' gaming table, but anything bigger than that would need to go on the floor.

Beyond scale and analog versus digital, where do you buy slot car stuff? I am in a rural area in the US, so I am guessing I will need to get most stuff online. Hobby Lobby is the only store around here where I have ever seen any slot car stuff.

Outside of that I would appreciate any tips or knowledge you think a new person would want or need when getting into the hobby. Thank you!

Why do my base runners occasionally go slow when stealing?

I am playing manually in Rookie I league. In my first two Rookie seasons when I would steal bases my base runners ran the same speed every time. Since joining Rookie I, there have been three occasions where my base runner went significantly slower than normal when stealing third. All three times they got caught stealing. Twice with a 58 speed runner and once with a 64 speed runner. The 64 speed player has the highest Agility on the team.

Is there a stat that makes them more consistent with their speed, is this a random occurrence, or is this something that shouldn't be happening at all? Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks!

**Edit** For some context around my experience, I had successfully stolen 1,129 bases in the first two Rookie leagues. I am aware the distance of the throw is shorter to third than to second. I am also aware the catcher's throwing stat factors into the throw speed. The runners are moving slower than normal. The same runners stole third at different points in the same game with the same catcher involved. I have only seen this slow down when going to third. Never when going to second. I hope that helps.

Post your decklist so I can play against it in Forge!

I have been playing in Forge against my own decks for a while, and it's starting to get a bit stale. Post your decklists here and I will add them to Forge and play against them. Bonus points if the deck works well in Forge. If you are unaware, Forge doesn't work great with complex combos and things like that, but I will take any deck you want to post. Thanks!

Will the world feed be available to stream in the US this year?

Any word if Peacock will actually have the world feed with McCrossan and Roach back this year? I am guessing they won't, but I am trying to get my streaming plans sorted out early this year. Any other world feed options in the US would also be welcome. Thank you!

Hofri Ghostforge, Valkyrie's Call, Anointed Procession, and a dying legendary creature...

Hello! I was playing a game of Commander on Forge and came across a strange interaction, and I didn't know if Forge was correct in what occurred.

In play I had [[Hofri Ghostforge]], [[Valkyrie's Call]], [[Anointed Procession]], [[Loran of the Third Path]], and a sac outlet.

I sacrificed Loran and stacked Hofri and the Valkyrie triggers so Hofri would resolve first giving me two tokens of Loran. That worked exactly as it should, but after that is when things got strange.

I then had to choose one of the Loran tokens to stay due to them both being legendary. After I chose one token the other died and triggered the "When this token leaves the battlefield, return the exiled card to its owner’s graveyard" text it had from Hofri.

This meant I had one Loran token on the battlefield and the Loran card in the graveyard when the Valkyrie trigger finally began to resolve. Valkyrie was then able to find Loran in the graveyard and return her to the battlefield as an angel with a +1/+1 counter which again triggered the legend rule with the card and the token copy. This is the interaction I didn't anticipate. Was this the way it should have been?

I was then able to keep the card as an angel, sac it, and get two more Loran tokens which meant the whole process netted me five Loran entering the battlefield triggers. The first two tokens, the card returning from Valkyrie, and then the second two tokens.

Typing it all out here seems to make it make sense, but I just wanted to verify if this was correct. Thank you!

Help Identifying Ants In North Central West Virginia (USA)...

Hello! I am looking for some help identifying some small ants. I am located in north central West Virginia in the USA. The pictures are taken on a standard 2x4 for a bit of scale. We have a small bounce house which we kept under our porch in a plastic container. We went to get it out and it was full of these tiny ants. Any idea what they might be? My children are very curious. Thanks!
