My boss had this MacBook Air in the trunk of his car for years, and he just gifted it to me. It was running macOS Sierra.
I decided to install Fedora on it, and I'm loving it. It's small and works flawlessly; I just had to install the Wi-Fi drivers, and voilà.
The Mac itself has definitely seen better years, but it's surprisingly clean.
EDIT: Correction, it's a 2014 model. Sorry guys, my bad lol
Hola a todos, es la primera vez que hago este tipo de publicaciones pero ultimamente he estado sumergido en la rutina de casa - trabajo - trabajo - casa y no puedo socializar con nadie.
Soy de México, me gustan los videojuegos (menos FIFA, o cualquier juego de deportes). Soy desarrollador de software, hace mucho que "perdi" el sentido de socializar así que no soy muy bueno para dirigir una conversación xd perdon.
Se ingles (nivel C1) pero no he podido practicar mucho el hablarlo. No busco conversaciones de indole sexual, solo es para pasar el rato y tal vez jugar algo en Steam o PlayStation.

Vi esta publicidad y me llamo la atención. Actualmente tengo Totalplay desde hace ya unos años, originalmente tenía el paquete de 500 megas y actualmente, por actualizaciones y demás, tengo una velocidad entre 800 megas y, a veces, hasta de 1gbps.
Según la oferta te dan hasta una IP pública lo cual es muy interesante.
Pregunta, convendría cambiarse a Telmex bajo esa oferta? Actualmente pago 890 en Totalplay en la zona de Coyoacán CDMX, muy rara vez he notado alguna caída del servicio y me interesa sobre todo la IP pública porque realmente odio estar restringido por su CGNAT.

As the title says, I messed up my relationship with my partner. For context, she's a webcam model. This isn't a problem for me, and I respect her work because it's her main source of income for her and her pets and family.
Yesterday, she told me that she was feeling sick and down, and that she wouldn't be streaming that day. I told her to rest and sent her money to buy whatever she wanted to eat. Everything was fine; I continued my day as usual. Nothing bad had happened yet.
Today, when I checked my email, I saw a notification that she had gone online yesterday. Sometimes I spend time with her on her platforms, and I forgot that I had notifications enabled. I must say that I felt appalled and a bit betrayed. When I asked her about it, I admit that I was a bit hostile in a passive-aggressive way. She only said, "Well, I was feeling fine, so I decided to work. So what?" It wasn't our usual playful, mad tone; today, it was serious.
I told her I wasn't trying to control her, I just felt confused about her being sick and then working. She told me not to worry and ended the conversation.
I feel like I damaged our relationship, and we can't go back now. I need advice on what to do next. For now, I've given her space and muted her notifications.
Sorry for the long post, but I didn't know where else to put all of this. It's my first time in this kind of relationship and I truly care about her.

Soy desarrollador .NET y siento que me he estancado haciendo casi los mismos proyectos una y otra vez, la paga no es mala pero ya para nuevos proyectos solo le pido a la IA que diseñe el front y yo solo copio, pego y cambio algunas reglas de negocio de mis proyectos pasados, en muy raras ocasiones me ha tocado investigar algo fuera de mi zona de comfort (por ejemplo, un ANPR con Python que corre sobre una Raspberry Pi).
Aprovechando que muchas veces tengo tiempo libre de sobra me he puesto a estudiar otras tecnologías como Angular pero me gustaría mejor ir generando experiencia a través de otro tipo de ambiente laboral o tal vez otro tipo de proyectos a modo de Freelance pero sin dejar mi empleo actual porque he logrado convenios con el dueño de la empresa a mediano-largo plazo. Así que les pregunto ¿A su parecer, que recomendarian buscar un segundo empleo aunque sea de junior para generar otro tipo de experiencia o buscar plataformas como Upwork para buscar otros proyectos en los cuales trabajar?
Cabe mencionar que he trabajado con .NET desde hace más de 10 años pero profesionalmente desde hace 4 y principalmente solo (todo el SDLC lo he hecho por mi cuenta), aunque tampoco me considero super experto por lo mismo que sigo un patron que no me exige mucho.
