i recently bought itel lifep04 battery to pair up with my old ziewnic 4.5kw gold, replacing the old tall tubular batteries.

the problem i face is that the company provided cables are fitted with ring type lugs that are too big to fit into the inverter battery input terminals. what options do i have?

also, is a dc breaker/isolator required between the inverter and the battery like in the old tall tubular setup or is it redundant? the itel manual shows direct connection with the inverter, which is also seen in many installations on youtube but i wanna make sure all the connections are right.
