My final letter, given to my addicted Ex
(It’s a translation from my own language. It’s 3,5 pages on paper in real.)
To …..
From the very second we first met, I gave you 10,000% loyalty on all levels (real, digital, emotional, mental), and from the very beginning, we mutually and bindingly agreed that this would apply to both of us for our relationship and our lives.
But you failed to understand what it means to merge with your partner in absolute purity, sharing the entirety of your energy – emotional, sexual, and mental – in absolute exclusivity with one another. To be everything all in one as lovers, best friends, a married couple, recreational partners, sexual partners, roommates, life companions, partners in crime, family, and forever-connected souls; everything united within the two of us until the end of days.
I was even willing to let our souls merge for eternity beyond earthly death, just as my soul has already merged with "zzz"’s (name of a deceased relative) soul. I thought you were worth it.
In my entire life, I have given this gift of an eternal soul connection only to "zzz" and to you, and never to any other man or human being. I chose you because I believed you were the right man for it.
Yet, you never acknowledged this precious gift of deep connection. You accepted it, yes, but then ungratefully threw it into the dirt.
Your secret virtual double life, your jerking off to other women, your obsessive fixation on women of your muscle fetish, your need for extramarital, virtual gratification, the cowardice, the lies, the gaslighting, the emotional wounding, and the victim-blaming toward me – all of this was more important to you than us and our eternal connection.
From the very beginning, all these breaches of trust heavily burdened our relationship like a smoldering fire, poisoning our harmony.
I never judged your biological limitation (erectile dysfunction). I accepted it because you, as a human being, were more important to me. Despite these limitations, I experienced our sexual life as fulfilling for both of us. We had developed a suitable and reliably functioning technique for ourselves, ensuring that both of us regularly and reliably got our money's worth every single time. And yet, I was not enough for you.
The most grueling part was that you simultaneously claimed the benefits of a bindingly agreed, exclusive relationship while running a secret sexual life of your own digitally with other women in parallel.
This is the bitterest paradox of our relationship: that I was the one who, out of love for you, remained faithful and held back due to the ED, while you, as a thank you, cheat on me virtually and committed treason against our vow of loyalty.
You wanted the security, but not the obligations. This asymmetrical loyalty is parasitic!
You knew you never had to worry, never had to be jealous or mistrust me, because of my strict stance on this matter. My rigid principles were a great convenience for you. But you are simply too selfish and parasitic to pay the same price for it.
You actively chose to do things you knew would end the relationship the moment they came to light. It must have been clear to you that you couldn't get away with this forever, that the truth would surely surface and lead to the end, sooner or later. I also warned you countless times before that I would not tolerate these constant lies (even on trivial matters) indefinitely, or if I were to discover digital infidelity.
Trust is the foundation of any relationship. And you are a person who cannot be trusted.
Over all these years, you constantly and unilaterally broke our mutual agreement of complete loyalty and purity, living the exact opposite in secret. I did not do that, not for a single second. I was 100% committed to you, and I did so with ease because no other men interested me but you. It is my nature to bind myself to one single man.
"Love is when loyalty is fun." & „If loyalty is a burden, it wasn’t love.“
All my love, faithfulness, loyalty, and desire belonged exclusively to you. And you knew that. You reassured me over and over again that it was the same way around and that you were sticking to the agreement. But gradually, I realized that this supposed mutual loyalty never actually existed in truth.
The deception began the moment you entered into our agreement out of pure fraud. I made it clear from the start what I expect from loyalty. If this boundary of mine was too harsh for you, you should have said: "Then the two of us unfortunately cannot have a relationship, as it is non-negotiable for me to gratify myself to other women despite having a partner."
That would have been your right (behavior) and my right (boundary). Thus, we would never have entered into this illusory relationship in the first place. But you accepted the agreement for appearance's sake and then secretly lived out this behavior through digital cheating.
The entire time, I thought – or at least hoped (while painfully sensing deep down that it wasn't so) – that I was receiving the same gift of loyalty from you, just as you promised. But it was nothing but a deceptive, fraudulent package. You withheld the truth from me to keep me trapped in a system that I would never have chosen had I known the true circumstances. Even before our time, you had already researched how to break free from your compulsions and looked into advice videos on the matter; you had already shared that. You recognized your problem with addiction yourself years before.
But now, when you realize that you have lost the only woman who ever truly loved you, everything is denied. You knew full well that you were carrying a severe, untreated addiction in your baggage, and you knowingly dragged me into this relationship that was doomed to fail. And for almost 5 years, you chose to mentally break me rather than face your own problems.
Our future plans that we shared and our goal to stay together forever and grow old together have been destroyed. We could have had a beautiful and secure relationship for eternity. Until the end of life, and even beyond. Everything could have been so beautiful.
Instead, you chose to throw away something of priceless value because a superficial pixel-illusion without depth means more to you than our agreement, which was the condition for our life together. Now, content yourself with this self-chosen emptiness. Own up to what you have done, to what and who you are, and live with the consequences.
By separating, I am simply reclaiming my peace of mind after many years with you, during which I was deeply unhappy due to your dark secrets. My mental health is my priority. It is not even that I chose against you, but rather that I chose the convalescence of my soul's salvation.
Now, I can find a man for whom I alone am enough and whom I can trust. Someone who gratefully accepts that I have 100% pure loyalty to give and who grants me the very same in return.
This standard may be rare, but it is all the more precious and truly not too much to ask.
I myself am the best example that this form of strict loyalty is possible. There are various relationship models in the world, each of which is legitimate. But both partners must adhere to the same model. You, however, were unable to follow the rules of the game for years, and just because you got caught cheating and the game is therefore ended prematurely, you claim after the fact that the rules were unfair from the start.
And now you can enjoy your solo time again with your digital substance, finally having no one left in your way to stop you from pursuing your true desire. You are free now and no longer waste your lifetime on a real, flesh-and-blood woman; instead, you can finally dedicate yourself again to your virtual world, which has so much to offer you.
So, I lift my gift to you back out of the dirt, take it back to myself, cleanse it, and preserve it for someone healthy who knows how to appreciate it, who deserves it, and who has the exact same to give to me holistically. And if that person does not exist, then that is okay too. Both options are better than being constantly lied to and betrayed.
At the same time, I return your gift to me, which was not filled with the content you promised. For the actual content of this deceptive package was never what I wanted. It is something that absolutely nobody wants to have in a relationship.
"We cannot change the direction of the wind, but we can adjust the sails."
And that is exactly what I have done now.
