Hey all,

This is a bit embarassing, considering I have 1700 hours in the game, but I have never pursued a Culture/Tourism victory. How does this victory type work? What do I need to do to optimize it? I know how to accrue tourism, but I have never understood how to read the screen that says how influential your tourism is with other civs? Any help would be appreciated.

I am playing a King difficulty Vox Populi game, and I formed a very productive relationship with Quebec City. I vassalized Siam after this war, then proceeded to vassalize Carthage by allying myself with Sweden in order to fight against Carthage.

Started a new Vox Populi gameplay, Epic game speed, Pangaea map, 4mil world age and standard resources. Found a great spot for a Petra with Akkad, took Sofia next because they decided to ally themselves with Korea, stole Busan and vassalized Korea, then founded Dur-Kurigalzu. Behold, the mighty Babylonian River Valley civilization. Just stole Cologne and Hamburg from Germany in the East. I have allied Genoa, Panama City, and Buenos Aires to the Southeast just off screen. Any tips on next moves?
