I’m 26 and I’ve been drawing for 5 years (as in actively trying to improve) and I’ve hit a plateau that seems impossible to get out of. I want to pursue art professionally but it seems out of reach and I want to just hurry up and make a decision on whether or not to continue to pursue this as a career or to just enjoy it as a hobby but I need some sort of outside opinion that isn’t from my supportive family who will always tell me to follow my dreams because they love me (these are some of the places where love works against you). What I’m asking is: is my skill level at a stage where I can realistically pursue art as a career or should I pack it up and do this for fun? Here are my best pieces to date. Let me know.
