Help!!!

So, I thought I would be a little bit cocky and use white spray paint (instead of using the usual black that i alwaus do) before applying any of my usual Citadel stuff to these miniatures and it's just resulted in absolutely none of them popping in any way whatsoever (colour wise)

What do I do?!!

Do I go back and re-spray them again, in the usual black or is there any way that I might be able to bring the shading up another notch or two without having to go right back to square one again?

😬😬

Any/All help would be VERY much appreciated right now at this point!! 🙏🙏

I need your help!!

I'm 40 years old and the previous character I had was named, 'Orion' and had a very similar back story?

I'd appreciate your opinions on how I can make the backstory of, Orion 2' a bit better? 🙏

The Origin of Orion 2:

Early Life:

The Red Tusk’s Hand.

Before the shining plate itself, there was only ever the Red Tusk clan.

She was born and then named as, 'Orion 2' a name which references a blood lineage of great champions.

She is also the daughter of the clan's chieftain as well.

The Red Tusks follow a path based upon brutal war, taking only what they need but offering up little mercy to others.

Within her father's clan, Orion excelled.

Her innate Orc traits succeeding in making her one of the most ferocious young warriors within her father's group.

By her sixteenth year, she was a deeply respected squadron leader, demonstrating the kinds of strategical and military minded background that helped her to gain her first proficiency within Intimidation itself.

Her life, however, was always defined by quietly internal, and very much un-orcish seeds of compassion.

She secretly despised the slaughter of non-combatants and more often than not, she secretly ensured that most captive healers were eventually spared as a result of it all.

These acts of mercy did not go unnoticed.

The main turning point came during the raids on the trading settlement of Gildenfield.

The Red Tusk chieftain, seeking 'perfection' within victory itself, ordered the burning of the temple of Lathander, with all of the town’s elders to be locked inside during the process.

Orion 2 refused the order.

And in front of her whole entire warband, she struck down the main torchbearer of the red tisks whilst also defying her father and all of the clan's own traditional doctrines too.

Her Orcish Relentless Endurance allowed her to withstand all of the immediate and horrifically punishing blows brought about by her own people.

For her treachery?

Orion was not executed.

She was deemed to be, 'Ghal’mira' (which means, "Unpure, Not of Us.")

She was then stripped of all her weapons, her armor, and all of her clan markings via fire, and her face was scarred by the Red Tusk's branding iron.

Thrown into the very brutal and utterly trackless Ironfang Wilderness, she was then condemned to the slow death of starvation and of being an outcast.

This is where the period of fending entirely for herself really began.

Within the harsh wildernesses, Orion survived not only on rage, but on a strange a newfound sense of calm and quietness.

For nearly two years, she was but a shallow shadow of herself.

All of The Red Tusk’s training served her well, but the solitude brought about by all of it was just utterly agonizing to her.

So, she became hyper-vigilant, developing her levels of acute Perception.

She was but a ghost.

A lonely and wandering scavenger.

Living off the roots of trees and the occasional beasts. The only company for her was the silence, and within all of that silence, a voice that she had previously ignored then began to grow.

A deep and resonating desire for harmony and for order, for protection, and for justice.

The chaos of her past now absolutely repulsed her.

One day, whilst feeling so weak from hunger and after having to fend off bands of scavengers, repeatedly.

Orion found herself cornered inside of a canyon and just as exhaustion started to take hold, she was found not by a beast, not by her own kin, but by a young human paladin named, 'Seclusius.'

Seclusius, barely into his adult years, was on a solo mission for the Order of the Radiant Heart. He came across the massively branded and disturbingly emaciated orc woman.

According to his strict dogma, she was an obvious enemy to him. But instead of seeing Orion 2 as an enemy?

He only saw deep levels of suffering.

Compassionately minded and guided only by a deep and very profound sense of virtue and individual insight, Seclusius then made a choice that went his orders.

He did not finish her off.

Instead, he treated all of her wounds and he shared all of his food rations with her.

He spoke to her, not just as a conqueror, but as a fellow soul and as a friend whilst they sat around the fire together each evening.

He saw all of her inner struggles and he listened to all of her stories of exile.

He saw the very seeds of devotion that she herself hadn't quite named or planted for herself yet.

Over many weeks and as she was recovering, Orion 2 learned a great deal from Seclusius.

She saw what true discipline meant and what a truly altruistic code could actually look like.

Seclusius taught her the language of faith itself, and more importantly, he treated her with the utmost dignity.

It was the first time that she had ever felt accepted as an outcast. This compassionate act succeeded in igniting the latent and righteous fires within her soul. The quiet voice of order became a roar of real and unadulterated purpose.

On a cold morning and whilst standing upon a granite peak within the Ironfang, Orion 2 swore her own personal Oath of Devotion.

She pledged her own soul and her own axe (of which she was still yet to find once again) to the defense of the weakest and to upholding the laws of the just and of the most righteous.

All of the scars on her face and upon her whole entire body, though they were still there, became badges of a very real and genuinely sincere transformation.

She was no longer just a soldier now.

She was an Orc Paladin.

Seclusius then became a very trusted ally, but Orion 2's path was now her own one to forge, independently and for herself.

Her strength, now combined with her brand new sense of Clarity and Divine Sense, has helped to develop her into being the shining beacon that she was always meant to be.

Opinions please!!

I am currently contemplating the idea of applying to study towards a Masters Degree in A.I & Ethics.

The course combined theory with more practical aspects surrounding the implementation of knowledge learned throughout the course itself into working professional environments.

The course also gives its students the opportunity to complete two work placements providing consultation to companies who's work and business is predominantly based within computer technology related industries as well.

I would appreciate your views on how relevant and how beneficial you think this particular avenue of study might to me if I am eventually wanting to pursue a job role within the subject itself?

It could be within a number of various different working roles. Roles within the educational sector/health & social care sector/police orientated role/corporate business based job role, I haven't decided on the specific field that I eventually would like to concentrate my efforts on yet.

Any/all advice and guidance very much welcomed and massively appreciated!!

Thanks folks.

👍🙏❤️
