Do you think Ikemoto is trying to create another Sasusaku through Borusara

Think about this. Boruto basically came back looking like a Sasuke clone.Sarada stayed in village waiting for him like Sakura did after her marriage. Red clad kunoichi with monster strength with Black clad swordsman.Sarada=Sakura and Boruto=Sasuke.Sarada also shows more emotions like Sakura did while boruto is completely stoic. What do you think

Wasn't he considered to be better than Naruto in all aspects

Why do so many people ship BoruSara?

BoruSara seems to be the most popular ship in the fandom, and I'm curious why people are so invested in it.

Is it mainly because they're Naruto and Sasuke's kids, or do you think Boruto and Sarada genuinely have the best chemistry?

Also, after everything that's happened in TBV, do you think Boruto has developed romantic feelings for Sarada, or is it still just a deep friendship?

Finally, do you see BoruSara heading in the same direction as SasuSaku, or do you think their relationship is fundamentally different? What moments convinced you?

Did Boruto become too strong after the timeskip?

One thing I've been wondering is whether Boruto would've been a more interesting protagonist if he wasn't already so far above everyone else after the timeskip.

Imagine if, instead of dominating most fights, he had to survive as a rogue ninja while being hunted by Kage-level opponents and elite shinobi. Every fight would've felt like a life-or-death struggle, similar to Sasuke around the Five Kage Summit, where escaping alive was an achievement in itself. It would have made us sympathise more with him because we know he is innocent .Maybe we would have seen Sarada,Mitsuki,Sumire helping him rather then look deadweight. Probably old shinobi like Konohamaru wouldn't be downplayed as much had this been the case. Maybe this could have allowed for Kakashi and Tsunade to come back.

Watching Boruto gradually earn his strength through those battles could've made his journey feel more tense and unpredictable.

Or do you think making him overwhelmingly powerful from the start was necessary because of the current power scaling and the threat of the Shinju?

Which version of the story do you think would've been better?

How much chance does he have of becoming hokage now

With the recent developments in Two Blue Vortex, do you think Konohamaru still has a genuine chance of becoming Hokage?

He was introduced as Naruto's successor candidate from the very beginning, but over the years he seems to have been overshadowed by stronger and more plot-relevant characters. At the same time, his conversation with Kōbu which absolutely turned against their favour.

Do you think that scene was setting up future growth, or has the story already moved past Konohamaru as a Hokage candidate?

If not Konohamaru, who do you think is the most likely Hokage after Naruto's generation?

Sarada inherited Sasuke's face, so why isn't she treated like Sasuke was?

Something I've always wondered:

If Sasuke was considered one of the most handsome characters in Naruto, shouldn't Sarada be getting a similar level of attention in Boruto?

A lot of people describe Sarada, especially after the timeskip, as basically the female version of Sasuke. She inherited many of his facial features, his aura, his expressions, and even some of his mannerisms.

So if Kishimoto and Ikemoto intentionally designed her to resemble Sasuke so much, why doesn't she receive anywhere near the amount of male attention that Sasuke received from female characters?

Sasuke had:

  • Multiple girls crushing on him.
  • Random admirers in the village.
  • Characters openly commenting on his looks.
  • A reputation for being attractive that was acknowledged throughout the series.

Meanwhile, with Sarada, we rarely see anything comparable.

Why do you think that is?

  • Is Sarada actually not supposed to be as attractive as Sasuke?
  • Is she just as attractive, but Boruto doesn't focus on romance and crushes?
  • Does her serious and intimidating personality make people less likely to approach her?
  • Is Boruto's cast simply written differently from Naruto's?
  • Or is Sasuke's level of in-universe popularity something that was unique to him and impossible to replicate?

Basically, if Sasuke is a 10/10 in-universe, where would you place Sarada?

And if she's truly the "female Sasuke," why doesn't she get the same level of attention from boys that Sasuke got from girls?

I think I finally realized why Ikemoto created the Boruto-Sarada-Sumire love triangle.

The more I think about it, the more it feels like Ikemoto basically reshuffled Team 7.

  • Boruto = Sasuke
  • Sarada = Naruto
  • Sumire = Sakura

Sarada is the one chasing the Hokage dream, defending Boruto against everyone, and refusing to give up on him no matter what. That's much closer to Naruto's role with Sasuke than Sakura's.

Meanwhile Sumire feels weirdly similar to Sakura. She openly likes Boruto, isn't a frontline fighter compared to the other two, often ends up observing their bond, and sometimes seems stuck between them. The difference is that Ikemoto gave her a scientist role instead of making her a medic so she has her own place in the story.

What makes me wonder is whether the love triangle exists because Sarada is a girl.

If Sarada were a male character with the exact same personality, goals, and relationship with Boruto, would anyone deny that they're basically looking at another Naruto-Sasuke dynamic?

Did Ikemoto intentionally recreate Naruto and Sasuke's bond, then add Sumire to fill the role that Sakura originally occupied?

Am I seeing something that isn't there, or is Boruto's Team 7 just a rearranged version of the original one?

What would have happened here had shikamaru not helped boruto escape

So there are many possibilities that boruto would die. What do you think would have happened immediately after this had shikamaru not decided to trust his own judgement. With the way the elders were planning stuff it could go many ways.Would they have locked him up or killed on the spot. The story till here where we could get to see the consequences a rogue ninja had to face was actually going good.I personally think this should have been main focus since we really never got to know much of this in naruto. Also it would have been cooler to see how boruto manages his daily life, where he eats etc, since he is the main character. It would have provided a different view from original naruto where we saw the protagonist in the village mostly.

What do you think was Kishimoto's biggest mistake after the Pain Arc?

For me, it was how the series gradually shifted away from the grounded ninja world that made early Naruto so compelling.

The Pain Arc felt like the culmination of everything the story had built up: villages, politics, ideology, the cycle of hatred, and Naruto's growth. After that, the focus seemed to move more toward increasingly larger threats, god-like powers, and destiny-driven conflicts.

I also feel that several side characters became less relevant, while the world itself stopped expanding in meaningful ways. Instead of exploring more villages, clans, and shinobi conflicts, the story became increasingly centered around a small group of characters and the Otsutsuki-related lore.

If you could change one thing after the Pain Arc, what would it be and why?

Why is she always sweating

First of all I'm not a Sarada hater—. My biggest issue with Sarada's portrayal in TBV is that she still seems to be sweating in almost every tense scene even after awakening her Mangekyō Sharingan. This is the same character who stood against village-wide pressure, believed in Boruto when nobody else did, and unlocked one of the most powerful Uchiha abilities. You'd expect her to carry herself with more confidence and composure after that growth. Instead, the constant sweat drops often make her look anxious or overwhelmed, which clashes with the image of a Mangekyō-wielding Uchiha. It's a small artistic choice, but when it happens repeatedly, it can really hurt the aura the character should have.

Does she feel more like Sakura's daughter

Honestly, I'm frustrated with Sarada's characterization in TBV. I had high hopes for her as a first well-written female character in the franchise, but lately she feels more like a next-gen Sakura than a balanced mix of Sasuke and Sakura. There also go her feelings for boruto which was recently confirmed by sakura being similar to her own .I miss seeing more of Sasuke's calm, analytical side in her character. She could have been way cooler like Madara ,Sasuke, Itachi but they just had to turn her into a classic shonen love interest.

Maybe I've misunderstood her portrayal, though. What do y all think?
