OG Kush Bx2 x Candy Fumes?

ROA: Combustion w/ taster chillum

Old school gas with new school depth and complexity. Like filling a gas tank with sugar. Then a couple pinecones, and then hints of tree fruit.
The gas note stays present in the middle with the accompanying scents somewhat arcing over and having finality, but not drowning it out. There’s a balance that only nature can provide.
Aroma strength? Stanky. There was no delay when I opened the jar. I had it open in the bathroom and my roommate (who doesn’t smoke) walked in after me and coughed. Loud.
Nose: 9.2

This would be a strain you might underestimate if you judged off immediate appearance. Like if you just saw it on the deli counter. That’s not to talk down. She just deserves a proper close up.
Under the light, she goes from peasant girl to Cinderella. This is the VIVID I know from days past. Tight trim (a little too tight today), no larf. Perfect size buds to be fulfilling for me while avoiding larger stems. You can see inside the structure of the buds where they go from evergreen pine outside to a frosty mottled yellow-green inside where you can pick out just the slightest hints of purple if you squint.
High density of smaller trichomes. Eye pleasing.
Run through with amber colored resin glands, although they are a little clipped-looking and cling tightly to the bud.
Overall, a cut above that needed that last bit of TLC towards appearance to truly wow. Just looks a little “overprocessed” I guess.
Looks: 8.3

First touch and squeeze: Kiefy af, dense but spongy, good moisture content but not sticky on the outside. All the stickiness lay inside. After breaking a bud open I had no problem sticking one to my finger and waving it a little.
I broke it down with fingers before using a grinder to really feel. Sticky enough to please me but not enough to piss me off. Not overly dense. It still has give. I’m with it.
Feel: 8.7

The smoke just lays on your tongue. A very heavy taste. This heaviness is balanced by the fact that the taste is highly palatable and very organic.
For me, the exact notes of this flavor were hard to nail. I had to come back to it. I’ve decided on smooth and creamy gas on the forefront that goes to a lightly spiced kushiness. But there’s a distinct umami that lingers so intensely. For me, those lingering memorable flavors are indicative of all around good tree. Fantastic.
Taste: 9.5

The buzz is potent and very stony yet mellow simultaneously. It comes on very smoothly in an average timespan. However Indica-dominant, in balance. Eyes open-type stony. I could probably have a serious conversation right now if I had to and perhaps enjoy engaging. I could also lay down. Clearheadedness comes forward while the body and face slip under waves and vibrations of straight up feel good. And one bowl got ya big tolerance boy to where he needed to be for the moment. I would take a certain level of caution with dosage.

TL;DR

There are special qualities to this strain and it has uniqueness. Loud and tasty. Stimulating but mellow. I very much enjoyed it. I appreciate being steered towards it and would partake again in the future.

Howdy! I’m fried so bear with me while I glaze those who deserve glazing.

For context, I’m a twice a day Dabber with a very high tolerance. Hence the mountain in photo 2. Part of the reason it’s so high right now is because I can’t stay out of this shit!

I have an unspoken rule about not buying the same strain or product twice because there’s so much to experience, yknow? Guess who went out of his way to snag an extra puck of this. It almost seemed imperative.

Gassy on the forefront, lightly sweet GMO-style (though not quite as funky, it doesn’t twist your tastebuds completely like true GMO) backend. A flavor profile that doesn’t have deeper complexity because it does not need it. The primary flavors are so palatable and the backend coats your mouth for quite some time. I did note a little harshness on the exhale in the throat like a scratchiness but I think that’s just my body’s diversion from coughing, which I have not done a single time. Flavor: 9 out 10. Only because the lack of complexity and more unique notes can be a drawback for some. It’s familiar flavors for most of us, just expressed so well. Delicious.

True hybrid. I’ve always thought of Chems as leaning mostly Sativa forward (I know that Sativa and Indica don’t exist, this is metaphor for easier comprehension). To divert, Chem Reserve is in fact creeper as someone mentioned. I almost called dud. That’s how long. When it hits, my mind becomes so clear yet so upbeat. I want conversation and to go walk. Let me say, the overall euphoria and general feel good on this strain is one of the best. No worries. You’re just there. I love it. A feeling I don’t always find with cannabis in small comparison to other euphorias that life offers (lol) unfortunately. But it is present here, I dare say, considering my struggles are my struggles currently and it still remains present when I medicate with this and I need it. Good shit.

But that’s only the front end of the experience! I found a very clear two sided progression to it each time I partook. I went from the aforementioned clarity and go to being fucking stoneddddd. Like sitting there totally present but eyes glued wide shut. Things that make you say goddamn a lil. I’ve very much enjoyed at that point just vibing to music sitting on the edge of my bed almost in a meditative state. Wouldn’t call it couch lock though. It was a deliberate and wise choice. It’s strong man. Even for me. I kinda wouldn’t recommend this as a morning smoke just because of the backend. It can be a little disorienting if you aren’t ready for it (I still wake and bake and function happily though, it just takes a little effort and remembering where my possessions are in public once I hit that stoned stage lol). I can sleep or not sleep. That’s worth noting. And I have rampant insomnia. The experience also has pretty decent legs to it. The initial hits around 20 mins or so if I’m gauging correctly and I’m happy go lucky coasting for about half and hour to 45 and then I’m litty titty to the floor for about the same amount of time. It’ll linger around for a while though, which is appreciated. Overall experience: 9 out of 10. That euphoria just takes you to an aware place of clarity that is nice to glimpse. The reason for the 9 is because I wanted more of it before I got on to the more Indica leaning effects. Those effects were pronounced and wonderful, only at times for me the transition was just a little disheveled feeling. If I’m being critical I’m being critical. With products like these that we’re willing to put into our bodies and integrate into our lives and modes of consciousness we should always be critical, as should everyone involved from seed to sale. Even if it’s in instances which seem minuscule. Ya digggg

I almost forgot! Appearance! Nose!This is my first time be gentle with me. At 10% terps, she fuckin’ bleeds. Terps on TOP of terps. A lake sat atop her when I cracked the seal. Owen Wilson wow. Off white tan color. Very nice. Not to throw shade where it doesn’t need to be thrown, but again to glaze for the right reasons and for simplifying the idea with metaphor, Vibe’s uniform consistency on their rosin is so much different than the rest in the market. Robust: Soft but wonderful as well. I love some Robust rosin. Amaze: More dense than both Vibe and Robust but closer to Vibe in consistency. I can lightly touch a fresh Vibe puck and there’s just a slight but pronounced spring. No res on finger. But when I dip my knife into it, it scoops like slightly cooled peanut butter? That’s what comes to mind. And again, with every gouge I make in the puck I come back to an absolute puddle of terps in the area. You may want to stir sometimes. I was lucky enough to get this at peak freshness. Hopefully you can be lucky with me on the next run. There’s currently one puck left at a certain STL Proper store (you gotta find it my dude) if a week and a half or so of shelf life doesn’t mean anything to you! Appearance: 9.5 out of 10. There is always room for improvement but Vibe has created a tight fucking window for the opps. It’s beautiful, easy to scoop and handle. It for real doesn’t get much better. The nose knows. I am a firm believer. It has never lead me astray and it has kept me from danger. Even when my judgement ends up being stupid, my nose always fucking knew and had the last laugh. The nose here is very true to flavor. Classic
smelling. Very nostalgic overall this one is, gassy from the past-y with that new school funk like GMO, just not as rancid if you feel me. The smell absolutely rushes you when you drop them drawers. Again I’ll say as with the flavor. Overall three toned gassy, slightly sweet, chemical funk. Simple enough. When it comes through so nicely though, it makes you appreciate it and take it in that much more because you aren’t searching the smell or the flavor for notes. They hit you. Which is cool because not everyone wants to play a mental game trying to taste their weed. Complexity shines in its own right of course and is always welcome with me, but a simple yet profound and memorable terp profile like what is found here, in my opinion is worthy of the W. That being said, I obviously really fucking like this shit so take my bias as you take it. Whaaaatever

Overall: 9.3. Which is really like a 9.5 or better with me lol because I don’t believe in perfect tens. There is always room for improvement, as I’m sure Vibe and other cultivators take into consideration and understand, right? I have injected many marijuanas in my long life and I take no prisoners. I can be a snob. But I believe it should be taken serious. Anyone who doesn’t I believe doesn’t respect cannabis as a whole and should go smoke k2. I digress? This is something special all around. Its faults only highlight its stronger points. But isn’t that true of all things when you look at the world with loving eyes?

Good job Vibe. Keep pressing my fucking guys and gals. You brought me a great tool for wellness these last couple weeks. Again, I needed it. Times are tough. World is fucked up. But weed remains chill. Except for when these dudes come through hating on my glazing in a few minutes. But no fugazi reviews here. I’m keeping it a thousand with yall. I did it simply because I had to. Yall deserve to know if you ain’t already where the good is in this dystopian hellscape of a Missouri cannabis market. And it’s right over hurr.
