Somethings I wrote while sitting in chair watching rain

O rain, why do I love you so much?

Even though you never show me mercy.

You drench me, stain my shirt with mud,

and block every path I wish to take.

Yet whenever you arrive,

I become a child who's finally received

the one thing he'd wished for all along.

I welcome you with my whole heart,

knowing you'll treat me no differently than before.

So why does your presence still feel like magic?

Why do I wait for you,

when I already know how the story ends?

O rain..perhaps love has never asked to be returned only to be felt.

This was my second read and man this book never disappoints me how on point is it that was written many years back oh man everytime i read this book it takes me to another area of my life

ik im glazing too much but it worth the glaze in my opinion.
