What is your biggest issue with the sync industry?

20-35% of sync licensing deals are lost due to mislabeled metadata and disorganized catalog with difficult to clear tracks. I wanted to help solve this issue and make it more accessible for independent artists by training an AI system that analyzes metadata like moods, genres, BPM, length, lyrics and key. Along with a simple to use and download Split sheet generator, that you can then upload and assign to specific songs showing clear ownership percentages, PRO affiliations and IPI numbers. This way simplifying the metadata issue. I’m also working on expanding the genre pool to more niche genres for better accuracy. I’m looking for feedback on how to improve it and help independent composers organize their catalogs better. For the composers, what is your biggest issue when organizing your catalog? And for the supervisors, what is the most tedious part of clearing a track to pitch?

What are your biggest concerns with AI use in the music industry?

A couple of weeks ago I attended a music tech conference in NYC. As we can expect AI was where the most investments are going to. SUNO being one of the companies that raised the most capital. I believe there can be more ethical ways of using AI in the industry, I’ve been working on some myself. And to get a better perspective I would like to ask about what you believe the future of AI in music is going towards? Do you think it’ll be more and more generative AI for music creation?
