First kayak

Looking to buy my first sit on top kayak. I’m 5’10”, 240lbs, 65year old male. Not fishing, just recreational. No plans of standing. Hoping for something that’s stable and not too heavy

Foot powder

Cleaned all the oil mess off the engine and dried it. Spray foot powder around. Went for a ride and here are the results. So is that CCT gasket shitting the bed?

Which manual?

Going to swap out the CCT gasket. It’s a 2023 DR650 and the manual is in a folder on my phone. I want to the hard copy and the only Clymer goes up to a 2019. Will that work?

Oil drips

After a ride, I notice a couple oil drips on the floor after a time. It’s a 2023 with 23,166 miles. The pictures are four weeks of riding since I cleaned the engine free of any oil residue. New to the dr. The drip stains seen in the photo are an accumulation over the past year. Only one stain is from today
