So nice to be able to block this sort of activity..

So nice to be able to block this sort of activity..

This is an app for a small portable AC I'm using in a build I am going to do to turn my rogue into a little camper vehicle. AC is ok for what it is and the app is good/useful, but it gives you this agreement. Stuff like this is so sketchy. It's so comforting to know that I can block network access and run this thing sandboxed with bluetooth only. The features of the app are actually super useful to me here.

What a beautiful Rainy Day.. [Liberty Park]

Just reading a book and enjoying the pittering of the rain in my car roof. I thought this was pretty.

I wonder why the side of their car is all f'd up? 😑

You know, I normally don't go out of my way to post anything, but I swear that people have been determined to kill me today. This was the last one coming back from lunch with other equally crap things happening coming to work and leaving to lunch. I was so tired and disappointed with how bad drivers have been today that I couldn't even get angry. I just want to go home and sleep man.. 😩

OWEL - Pale Soft Light [Prog/Soft Rock]

This is one of those songs that popped up in a random mix for me something like 8 or 9 years back that seems to not have any notice. (Quick note: this is the group OWEL, not Owl City.) It really is gorgeous and so "Delicate" for a lot of it, like the artists are trying not to go too hard so they don't break something precious, then just let it build until it's become something grander. Really creative drumming, really nice layering of clean instruments, great contrast later to some of the distortion. I've come back and listened to not only it, but in particular the live version more times that I can count. They are just Album worthy in their live performances.. and as of right now the live version of the song only has 100 likes and 3.2k views. :( They really seem to have just.. never gained much traction, even though they have a lot of good songs.

Anyways, here is the Album version and here is the Live (in studio) version. I do think I like the album version the best because there are some added effects that work well with the song, but the live version is about as close as you can get to the album version.. so it's worth listening to if only to appreciate how good they are at what they do. haha

Is the boombox gone now?

Hey All. I have a question.. I am on a replay of the game after many many years away from it, and I noticed the boombox at the lake just.. wasn't there. The teens were there and such, but not the boombox. Was it taken out of the game, or did I cause it to show up some how?

AC Exhaust Heat Duct (With inbuilt screen)

I designed this air duct/adapter for the window blank. I had been just squashing the tube into an oval shape and pushing it into the oval hole, but due to a real explosion of box elder bugs in my area, I really had to do something to plug up the holes around the tube. (The reason I don't have a screen on the space is long to explain, but there is a reason I won't get into.) But yes, once the box elder bugs were suddenly all over my room I finally stopped being lazy and printed a duct/adapter. lol

The print was made so that I can use normal screen material, but I didn't have any so I 3d printed a screen instead using the no infill + no top/bottom layers trick. The original piece would have clipped in place, but that wouldn't have been worth the trouble since I had plenty of fasteners. It was printed in clear PETG because that is what I had. Honestly, I'm not too worried about the duct itself degrading in the UV, but I assume my 3d printed screen is going to go brittle very fast. ^^; A better material all around would had been ASA or ABS with a powder pigment like carbon black, but eh.. I think it's fine. I'll probably just plan on replacing the 3d printed screen later.
