I was sleeping when I suddenly heard my phone ring. Shortly after, I saw a message saying: “Erasing all data.” After that, my phone was factory reset. My other phone, which was linked to my accounts, was also factory reset, and as a result, I lost all my data.

I checked Google activity for any suspicious activity/logins and also looked for any Find My Device activity, but I couldn’t find anything unusual.

For context, the phone next to me was a Samsung Galaxy A72, and the other phone was a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7.

Can anyone explain what happened?
