The tiniest little flower on the teeniest little scape!
A few people have asked about my sparkly limestone ping rocks so here are some pics. I actually just got my latest order today (pics 1-4). And plenty of holes for stuffing with sphagnum moss. I have only received one rock that had a huge crystal - the one in #5. This time it was 6 medium size rocks that are perfect for 6 or 8" bonsai pots and lotus bowls. The amount of quartz is on par with my other orders.
A lot of pings' natural habitats have limestone. It wicks very well and it's easy to break up a bigger rock or just take off bits to fit in a vessel. Moss also grows very well on it. And of course, sparkly quartz is often found in limestone.
Today's was my 5th order from this listing: https://a.co/d/06fGcmFX
I received this Crispate Beauty with yesterday's plant mail. It wasn't listed as variegated, pics and price were definitely not variegated. But I think they sent me one that probably spontaneously mutated.
The leaves in the crown appears variegated, they have only a small bit of blue-ish spots on the tips and the newest appear completely white with sun stress pink blush.
It is extremely hydrated. I'm questioning the variegation because it had some leaves that were clearly over watered. Indeed two leaves near the crown were rotten and there was one translucent yellow leaf on the bottom. The stem appears to be fine and it arrived bare root so hopefully it won't need to burn up too many leaves whilst rooting. I don't have experience with this plant so I don't know if this is likely a consequence of overwatering and leaves just haven't gone translucent yet or if it is variegation.
