Old first aid kit.
Stumbled upon a first aid kit that obviously has some age. Looking for some one to date it, or possibly say where they saw it last. Ebay and Google are far apart on its age, and neither deal in specifics dates.

My minx wont shoot but one round at a time. Cases fail to eject or get caught up in slide. Every one. Every single time. Even without mag. The gun has been cleaned and oiled meticulously. The only thing I can figure is the recoil spring is rubbing the grip because the right side grip protrudes slightly. It does not sit square like left grip. I can not get it to sit square because the grips either warped or the recoil spring is shoving it out. Would new grips and recoil spring solve this or what. Have no idea whats doin this.
84F. Probably gonna sleep with this sexy thing tonight.
Purchased a ronnin in 10mm to satisfy two cravings. I wanted a 1911 and 10mm. Was very eager to shoot the pistol and the first 300 rds was miserable to shoot. Failure to feeds almost every mag. I gave up and contacted springfield and sent it back in. They refit the barrel and polished ramp throat blah blah blah. It couldn't chamber a load of air.
Put 400 more rds thru it. Thought it was shooting great. Then it started the same failures again, albeit no where near as many. Had 4 failures across 400 rds and two of those were with hollow point. All failures were slide about a 8th inch out of battery. I bought a cobra mag amd it wont even lock the slide. At this point I lost faith in the gun and would not carry it.
I sent it back again. They repolished everything again to include the slide. They then shot about 60 rds thru it and said it shot fine. Im eager to get it back and see. But it will take many many rounds for me to fully trust the gun again. Has anyone experienced this with their 10 ronin. Or just in general. Im not above requesting a refund if I dont feel I can trust it. I know these guns gotta break in and have multiple mags to see what works, but a gun that cost damn near a K should never perform this poorly.
