Took a day trip and rode 220 miles! Climbed alot of elevation and even hit some off road mountain trails until a patch of sand took me down😂 Picked her up, front tire and handle bar was a little off center but I bent them both back and road 100 miles home in heavy wind! Sun burnt and smiling!
Been dealing with a large group of guests staying at a hotel site. They are Germans on a business trip for a certain vehicle company without stating a name😉 and are genuinely all douche bags. They've been here all week and every time I come on shift im having to kick them out of the pool area because I have to lock it when I arrive. They are all middle aged and act like children... I politely ask them to leave and usually one or two will say okay but not move, and the rest won't say anything at all, just stare and pretend not to speak english. Ill then go from asking to telling them to leave and they still will sit there silently ignoring me. I have to physically begin locking them into the gated area telling them to leave or sleep in the pool area all night for them to decide to leave and understand me. Very frustrating considering I have to be courteous at this site where as anywhere else id already have kicked all their asses off the property a week ago for acting this way continously.
2025 dr650, about to take it in for its first service, its sitting at 680 miles. Is this an early sign of an oil leak? Do I need to bring this to their attention when I go in? My bike is under manufacturer warranty.
Took the DR off road for the first real time and loved it. Thank you to everyone who recommended case savers cause oh boy. I only took one little spill on a really rough rocky uphill portion of road, but the DR ate it and I only broke off the tip of my clutch lever. I'll probably stick to softer roads from now on but man it was fun!
First trip out to the Superstition mountains. Need some other DR riders who want to explore Arizona. Ive always ridden solo, but as I adventure further it would just be nice to have someone watching my back.
2nd day of owning my brand new 2025 DR. Never seriously dropped a bike in my 25 years of life riding. Drove it 50 miles no problem, pulled up to a stop sign. Lost my footing stationary and dumped it on its left side. Sent the shifter right into the stator cover and dented it. It has the smallest micro hairline crack and is barely weeping. Nothing serious but I love ordering a brand new cover for something brand new😭 Help me feel better people.
