Worst meal ever at USH, without a doubt.

As a Platinum Pass holder, I'm very familiar with Universal 's mediocre food, but this was really something else. I mean, I have had some really bad food at USH, but this was probably the worst.

Everything was dry as f*ck like it had been made three days ago. The sausages tasted like literal dirt, the peas were desiccated, and the mashed potatoes were so hard I almost broke my plastic fork.

I threw most of this in the garbage.

One of the main reasons I will NOT be renewing my AP this year is because I'm sick of all this overpriced, god-awful food.

The sticky toffee pudding was not bad, however.

Best poolside bar on the Strip (with seating) for people watching?

I'm headed to the Flamingo this week on a solo trip, and I'd like to find a poolside bar WITH BARSTOOLS where I can just chill, chat with people, and nurse a couple mai tais.

When I was in Hawaii last year, I found a great beach side bar where you could sit all afternoon, enjoy the scenery and drink-in the activity. I'd love to find a similar vibe on the Strip, if possible.

The problem is that most hotel pools have switched to a more premium 'day club' model where you essentially have to pay to sit down. The bars are walk-up, and the only free seating is a lounge chair with zero shade. Not only do I despise sunbathing, but as a solo traveler, I want to be closer to the action and not off in some corner by myself.

It seems that if you want a seat with shade, you essentially have to pay for a daybed or a cabana, which I have no interest in. I feel like if I'm buying food and drinks at the bar, that should at least earn me the right to sit down for a while lol.

Is there any place left on the Strip with this kind of vibe?
